Crashes constantly
Great content but it crashes constantly
Buggy app
The app kept crashing I have an IOS device it’s an IPHONE 12 and it just is super annoying and buggy i barely was able to make an account

Hiding that this app requires a membership to do anything is going to lead to a lot more 1 stars
“In-app purchases” is misleading for a subscription based app.
Says “In-app purchases” on the App Store but after completing a lengthy onboarding flow you can’t start a trial without also starting an in-app subscription.

Depth, Growth, And Teamwork
Out of all the possible competitors that they have faced, I had used others but none nearly as detailed or in depth of explaining how it works or troubleshooting if something seems a miss. You get to also talk through a community to see similar issues and how they work through, or help with issues you may need more clarity or advice with. A wonderful work team ready to give help and explain how it may help, or what may be the problem and go in depth of that alongside of advice to help troubleshoot around the issues at hand. This would honestly be the first app i would recommend anyone for dog training.

Easy to use, perfect for puppy training
The app is super easy to use, and step by step video guide is very helpful. Finished the fundamental course and really liked it! 10/10
Cancelled but still bills
It looks like the training was OK but I just simply didn’t have time to do it at the time that I started the subscription so the following month when it came time to renew I canceled it however, it continues to bill two months later. There’s no contact information anymore because I already canceled it and all that information is gone. I’m having a lot of difficulty getting a response or even getting anybody to address it directly.

Awesome training resource
Been using this for months and our pups is incredibly well behaved. Super high quality content and material. And ability to access expert trainers and get a response quickly is amazing. Monthly cost is worth it for that alone!

Gentle Beast is such a great resource for training your dog- and yes even older dogs can benefit a ton from the training techniques. The community is also a great resource. Very user friendly and really helpful content! I’m very happy with Gentle Beast!

Great content and helpful community
Gentle beast has been incredibly helpful throughout our training process. The content is easy to follow, well put together, and personalized at each stage. The Community feature that was recently released has been a game changer. When issues have come up during our training, one of Gentle Beast’s certified trainers is quick to respond in the training group to help get us sorted. This training process and experience has been so different than what we’re used to - we’re (pup included) very thankful we found Gentle Beast!

I wish this app was available when we got our two older dogs. The new puppy is responding well to the training and our older dogs are benefiting too! You can teach an old dog new tricks by focusing on positive reinforcement.
As someone with a master’s degree in education, I know that reinforcing expected behavior is the right approach when teaching and reinforcing a new skill. Thank you, Gentle Beast.

Not only does Gentle Beast have expert training tips and programs for your pup that far exceed other apps and even in-person trainers, but it is also the most beautiful app I've ever used. Amazing for first time dog owners
Not having grown up with a dog I was always concerned I wouldn’t know where to start, and always overwhelmed by the excess of non-personal info online. Gentle Beast gave me the tools and guidance I needed to not only feel like training my dog was going to be achievable, but was curated so perfectly to my 8-month old rescue. 10/10 rec for any first time dog parents!!

Really useful training for puppies
This has been beyond helpful for my puppy Mila, I’ve gone to classes before but I have found the app more useful in training my pup. A must download for new dog owners.

Variety and quality outstanding
The quality of the content is phenomenal the care and attention - they clearly get dogs! And have done the research to understand what works. I was also amazed by the range of material - puppy training, behavior, access to live trainers. And as an added bonus I also feel like I have found a community of like minded dog lovers.
