Not great
I was so tired of ai life sims and saw the developer talking about this game so I was very excited to try it but unfortunately it’s not much different the 5000 other life sim games.
My recommendations are:
1:I hate having to click the same 50 buttons every single year to do basic things maybe make a basic and advanced mode so if I want to have it more basic where I don’t have to fill out a full description for a make believe YouTube video or something I can
2:there are so many menus to go through to find what I want maybe have the main things upfront on the main page then just use the menus for smaller insignificant things
3:most of the menus and buttons aren’t clickable till a certain age then when I hit the correct age to unlock the menu or button it says I’m still not old enough the big one is the childhood jobs menu
I did not play that long these things made me quit the game fast

Response from developer
I apologise for your experience not being up to the level that it should be. I am currently rebuilding the game from scratch for the next update to significantly improve every part of the game internally and externally. This rebuild update should be 1-3 months away from releasing as of the time of me writing this response. While I understand actions matter more than words, and what I am saying is currently just words, I am confident that the upcoming changes will be worthwhile. Regardless, thank you for the honest review.
A Masterpiece of Indie Integrity with Massive Structural Potential
As a veteran of text-based and open-world life simulators, I am incredibly impressed by Genworld’s foundational framework. In an era where mobile gaming is choked by predatory ad loops and paywalled progression, this game is an absolute beacon of developer integrity. Making all visual personalization and advanced features entirely free, without forced advertisements, shows a deep respect for the gaming community. The financial complexity—specifically the multi-job structures, crypto markets, and unique annualized budget systems for real estate—provides an economic depth that completely outclasses corporate competitors like BitLife. However, Genworld is currently held back by significant early-stage optimization issues. Menu transitions frequently freeze, button presses can double-register, and a few high-tier career loops lack finished gameplay content. There are also notable economic exploits where rapid actions can break early-childhood progression balance. The framework here is phenomenal—it has "good bones." If the upcoming performance engine overhaul can completely iron out the menu lag and introduce a more granular, dedicated interface for managing individual friendships and social drama, Genworld has every ingredient necessary to become the definitive life simulator on the market. Keep up the amazing work, Adam!

W Game
Theres alot of things to do considering the game just came out
Doesn’t work with screen reader
I found this game on Reddit and it seemed pretty cool. The developer noted that it had support for screen readers, however it only reads the first text element of the character creation screen and doesn’t let me swipe left or right to scroll. I would also like to note that some other games in this genre have lost support for screen readers recently due to an issue with the game engine, so this might not be entirely the fault of the developer.

Underwhelmed
Buggy, not realistic, and seems more like a beta app that was posted here before it was actually finished.. it doesn’t have that many events and the interactions we get are repeated
