Excellent, but requires some user savvy…
Latest version finally works correctly with Gmail! Unfortunately, owing to the sprawling nature of Google’s web empire, enabling this on Gmail can sometimes cause other Google-based websites to refuse you access because “your browser may be insecure.” As far as I can tell, this is because different Google websites may see different locations or timezones and conclude something is “amiss.” Developer-recommended settings for Gmail would be a nice addition, but overall, developer’s latest updates to fix behavior with Gmail are a HUGE step forward. Thank you! (And yes, I still think paying for the Pro version was a good value!)

Despite several nice upgrades, this app still cannot prevent the system time zone from leaking to Gmail, which is a huge gap. Working flawlessly with Gmail (and similar) should either be a key test case for this app or should be clearly announced as out of scope. Until then, the app feels unfinished.
Despite the above, I do not regret paying for Pro to support the app. I look forward to the day that it fulfills its potential. Promising start…

This app is a nice idea, but time zone spoofing does not work in Gmail, which seems like a serious oversight. Still, it shows much promise!

Hey, as stated in the apps description and during setup, GeoCeptor can only change your location in websites on Safari. So if you open up Google Maps on the web it would work. If you need any more help feel free to email help@bcnlab.org
