Black screen! No way I’d pay money for this!
70% of the time I try to play the free daily game it’s only a black screen!
IF this game worked MOST of the time I’d consider subscribing. NOPE!

Black screen, no map
I play the daily challenge for free and more than half the time when I launched the daily challenge there is no map. It’s just a black screen and the timer starts counting down. Why would I ever pay for this app when it doesn’t work?
Not paying for this
Why would I pay 8 dollars a month? Makes no sense. Not worth that much money. If I had to pay $8 once I would but not every month
More Subscription BS
Subscribing to an app like this is as bewildering as it is deceptive. The app lets you play once a day for free, and locks every single other feature behind a paywall. A flat, one time fee? Fine. Another subscription? Absolutely not. This app is worth a $5 flat fee one time. Not a recurring subscription of $48, yearly or otherwise.

Money hungry monkeys
Can’t even play with friends without paying half your paycheck. I can pay for GeoGuesser pro and still get ads. Disgusting.
Update disappointing
I used to enjoy Geoguesser but it has completely changed. Now one has to rely on obscure clues to figure out where a place is. Before, one could usually look out for sign posts, significant landmarks or buildings etc and sometimes get very close to the actual location. Now I just take a stab at the approximate country or even continent. I also miss the different categories. Whoever totally changed the game has mad it boring and no longer fun to play.

needing to have a subscription is crazyyyyyyy
Not everything has to be a cash grab, do better.
This used to be an amazing game, and a great way to kill time. Now, they wanna charge you to even be able to use the app unless you play the free daily challenge which is 1 free game every 9 hours or so. This used to be completely free by the way, and I understand sometimes you need to start charging your “consumers” to be able to keep operations up and running, but there’s no way this is worth a running monthly fee at the price it’s currently set at. No way at all. Do better and actually think about the people that’s supporting you before you make decisions that’s only going to benefit you.

Download only if you’re willing to pay
I had this app a long time ago and I really liked it so when I decided to redownload it to play again I was surprised that I now can’t play for free and I have to pay a monthly subscription. Do not download unless you want to pay a monthly fee.
Don’t buy this game
You can only play if you spend £40-£50 a year and once you’re subscribed you can’t back out without losing your account, I was subscribed for 3 years and because I didn’t pay on the day my account was meant to be charged I lost my account. All the purchases, Skins and cosmetics etc that I had paid for I can’t get back even though I’m using the same email and account

Payment Required
It’s $43 or $49 a year for pro and unless you pay for that the only thing you can do is play the daily challenge.
subscriptions
everything now requires except the classic mode, whereas before did not require. this is very distasteful.
Unplayable on iPad Pro
This game does not even work on a 2024 iPad Pro. It will glitch out and not accept your selections whatsoever
Amazing
This was great.
Have to pay to play
Waste of time
Geoguessr
You have to pay for everything
To much pro
You download this game thinking it’s great but all you can do is play your daily’s as there’s nothing else to do because it ALL REQUIRES PRO
Fun but
It’s fun when you get to actually play, however you play once and then you’re hit with a paywall for 24hours… not worth it if there’s no option for free play.
Locked out
GeoGuessr now requires you to submit to personalized tracking.
No pay, no play.
Almost completely useless unless you pay a sub. You can’t actually do anything fun without coughing up cash, which is crazy since the entire thing is based off someone else’s (google’s) maps anyways.
