I love GGC

Rarely used
I, personally, rarely used it in the end but I can say that taking away the ability to post was not a great move. As another review said - info can be found elsewhere and I actually couldn’t get it to connect to my classes or grades anyways. It was a good place for students to connect, ask questions, and post feelings overall. The posts should be brought back with the addition of either a tech or a marketing student (or other) monitoring it. I’m guessing the lack of a person with free time was a downfall - but definitely something someone could pick up for volunteer hours or something.

That was the most unnecessary update(downgrade) I’ve ever seen an app do. Your thriving social community was nerfed beyond belief due to taking down the public thread board. All you needed to do was create an automated system that took down inappropriate comments. Instead you took away people’s way of communicating and joining their community. This is how people found updates on their clubs, updates on what friends are doing. It took away friend MAKING opportunities. Its arguably the only reason we need the app!!! You have pulse to communicate with us, you have outlook! This app is now useless to almost EVERYBODY, as we can access EVERYTHING we actually need in our banner. I hope this is changed in the future.

Useless now
They took the right to post on the general feed. It was nice having the general feed so students could ask questions about campus or if they need help on an assignments or where to go for parking etc. there is no point now to have the app!
Useless
The ability to post or comment under posts has been taken away, so now the app is completely useless. Admins have the ability to remove offensive posts, but instead they opted for removing the entire function to even post. Deleting the app.
No point in using the app anymore
They took off the ability to post in the feed for general users, i will be deleting this app as there’s no point in using it anymore, you can find all the stuff the app has elsewhere.
Can be problematic..
It’s not really the app it self, it’s some of the students. I went to the school a year ago and dealt with some rude people. They can be very trolling and judgmental so it doesn’t really bring “a safe and non judgmental” space at all. I feel like if responses were monitored on this app, it’ll be less problematic in the future.

Entertaining, and good in theory
It’s a nice way for students to connect, but there are some flaws.
The main one is not allowing changing of a name, or a displayed nickname. I go by a nickname, but am unable to change it from my government name. This makes me avoid the app in general, although I wish to talk to other freshman like me.

It’s a nice way to communicate with your peers to get the latest updates on things or to ask questions.

This is a great app, but I have noticed some flaws. As a Voiceover user, these flaws would not be apparent to the sighted. The screen reader that I use doesn’t read so they like it should.Aside from that… this is a great app!
