What is Geosensors used for?
Geosensors is a geophysical surveying tool that works with the Geosensors Logger hardware. It allows users to monitor live sensor data, set up and record surveys, and transfer data for further processing.
Does Geosensors require specific hardware?
Yes, to get the best use out of Geosensors, it must be connected to a Geosensors Logger hardware. This logger connects to an electromagnetic sensor and an external GPS device.
How does Geosensors connect to the logger?
The application connects to the Geosensors Logger via WiFi. This connection allows for real-time monitoring and data transfer.
What kind of data can I view in Geosensors?
You can view live electromagnetic (EM) and GPS data as it's recorded. The app also displays auxiliary EM sensor data like battery level, tilt, rotation angles, and temperature.
Can I modify settings with Geosensors?
Yes, you can use the terminal within Geosensors to modify internal EM sensor configuration settings. You can also modify logger configuration settings such as baud rates, device name, and WiFi security.
How is survey data handled in Geosensors?
Completed survey data can be transferred to the app. You can then review summary details and email the data as an attachment for further processing on a desktop computer.
What devices is Geosensors compatible with?
Geosensors is supported on iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices. It is rated for ages 4 and up.
