Geotag Photos Tagger - unlimited trips

Allows to geotag unlimited number of trips

User reviews

So promising but….

Does what it says, I’m using it for a trip to Europe to geotag photos from my dslr which has no gps by using a gps tracker on my phone then using the resulting gpx file to tag the photos after importing the images to my iPad. But I did a long day and ended up with a gpx file of more than 5000 points and the iPad app then crashes when trying to import the gpx file.

Functional but lacking

Basic workflow of “Open GPX file, see I tagged photos, Tag untagged photos” works well

You can’t open a GPX file from the Files app. Airdropping a GPX file to the iPhone gives the option of opening in the app, but the app ignores it.

There is no way to bulk import multiplie GPX files.

Works well and extremely fast

This little app does exactly what it says it does. What’s more, it does it phenomenally fast. So nice to see an app that delivers on its promise dependably and quickly. All apps should be so good.

Works exactly as advertised

I needed to correct the geotagging on some photos taken with 16.1 beta and broken gps. I was easily able to import a gpx from another device and effortlessly fix my photos. Thanks!

Response from developer

Hi, thank you for your great review! We are happy that our app has helped you. 😊

Makes my old DSLR up to date!

I have an older Nikon D60 and still love it. I’ve been a Geotag Photos user doe years, and I used to travel with my Mac to be able to geotag my photos. Now I can just use my I phone! The photos flawlessly tag with my GPX file from Geotag Photos 2, and the time sync works for when you forget to adjust camera time.

Now with only my iPhone I can tag my location, get my photos on my iCloud, and share everything! I enjoy that it tags my photos across all my devices via iCloud.

(I use the iPhone dongle to read photos in from my SD card, the Apple photos app, and my photo library is synced with iCloud across devices.)
