Is this app no longer working? I just downloaded for an up coming trip and while trying to creat an account or login it’s telling me server is unavailable
Ugh
This app would do everything I need it to if it worked. Seems like there is no support anymore? No locations can ever be found, so I added all points manually. Once all done, I can't save as it says a bunch of info is missing although all fields are filled out. Can someone please help? Thanks!
Needs to work better offline
Still needs to contact servers even if you download a tour. In areas of poor coverage this means it cannot download the audio. The app frequently locks up or crashes if it cannot access the Internet. Only good for locations with good coverage or Wi-Fi.
Would not search for destinations
I took longer downloading this than using it. Search icon brought up a blank screen and no keyboard…
Responsive customer service, great tour of the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego, Ca
Initially I had an issue creating an account on the Mobile App, but emailing customer service they checked into the issue for me, it was just a fluke. Love the Free Self-Guided Tours I’ve tried so far.
Surprisingly good for a free app
Took the Savannah architectural walking tour. Well designed, informative. Highly recommend

Pretty good app - 4.5/5
Downloaded to explore an annual architectural tour, and was impressed by the amount of info available on the 50 or so architecturally significant stops along the route. Also impressive were the narrated clips about each of the sites. Some of the clips needed more attention to editing (microphone clicks, mouth noises, repeated sentences), which is the only reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5. All in all, a good job!

No Longer Working
Downloaded the app and reviewed a few tours with the hopes of creating one for a local town. It stopped working temporarily. I messaged GeoTourist and it was fixed back that afternoon. Am excited to finish the tour I’m creating and opening up local town history to visitors. Thank you!
Excellent Narrated Tours
Just downloaded today and went through narrated Atlanta tour. Superb. I couldn’t find a way to rate the individual tours however.
Clips just didn’t load
I had full signal, all permissions on, but I was only able to hear three of the 22 clips on my tour. What I heard was good but it was quite frustrating to hear so little and stand around waiting for clips that never loaded.
Free app that has lovely local tours around the world
Downloaded this when I was in Covent Garden and did the free tour which was fun.
Highly recommend and looking forward to doing more tours.

User experience lets it down
I love the idea of this app and I would be a big user & advocate if it was easier to use. Two big issues I have with it are:
- the actual address of the interest points aren’t displayed. There no place for them in the app design, so you can try to find the approximate location using the map, but it makes it difficult to find your way.
- you can’t download the audio in advance. This would make a huge difference. Not only does downloading the audio on site chew up a huge amount of data, it’s so slow that I found myself standing in silence for five or ten minutes at every stop before the audio would start playing.
- there’s no indication that audio is downloading at all or how long it might take. So while I was waiting for audio to start, I wasn’t even sure if anything was happening or if there was an issue with my headphones or what
- a third of my way into the tour I gave up on audio and just read the notes. Halfway though I gave up even on that since I was missing so much of the content and having trouble finding the landmarks without addresses.
I feel like making a couple adjustments would make this app infinitely more usable, and if that happens I would love to use it.

Useless, nearest landmark 80 miles away
Advertised in North 2018 Summer. Downloaded it and the nearest attraction to Thurso is 130km from here!
What a waste advertising it when there is nothing nearby according to the app

Poor
Doesn’t appear to work (tour audio won’t play) on an iPhone 6S running iOS 11
Also, features a bizarrely fussy circular scrubbing control that’s pretty but horrible to use.

Could Be Perfect with Offline Use
This app team fantastic. However not allowing for offline use is a giant issue. I would rate this at a five once it has that capability.

Ur own tour guide
Took the tour for Buckingham palace. It's easy to use and informative. Can't wait to use for other attractions.
