Definitions of common words are missing!!!
After using the app for a couple weeks, I have on several occasions found entire definitions of words absent from the listings.
Examples:
• The noun version of "Abkommen" (which means "agreement" and appeared in a headline and cannot be discerned from the verb definition.)
• The masculine version of "Kiefer" (the common word for "jaw"; only the feminine definition, "pine," appears)
My initial highly positive impression had been aided by what I thought was thoroughness in the listings. It is now clear that I cannot trust the app to include even common words. I am supremely disappointed.

Decent app, liked the word of the day better in previous versions. Prefer one word, easier to remember.

The PRO version of this app is a great companion to the most popular translator, often offering much more depth for many words. It's audible feature is also excellent.Update - love the new slide-able UI for entering the next word to be translated!!!
Great straight forward tool
I'm not sure if it's a coincidence but two specific features I requested were added, so it feels as if the developers are listening. I read books in German and I used to carry a pocket dictionary with me and would write down the words I looked up to create a vocabulary list based on my reading. Now I can do that all with this app by saving words as bookmarks which now automatically show up as flash cards. It also allows you to export a list of words you have looked up (although not with the translation). For my purposes this app is easy to use and I love it.

Very helpful app!
I use this app a whole lot since Internet is not required to access the dictionary. The translator is a wonderful tool as well, as well as the learning games and quizzes. One thing that needs to be fixed as soon as possible is the "Word of The Day" feature. This feature is meant to provide the user with a new German word each new day but it in fact rarely provides me with a new word unless I reset it which is very frustrating. Please fix this!

What an awesome app!
Can't be any better than this - very versatile and thorough! I love it so much that I use it everyday to improve my German, which I haven't practiced since high school.

Good app but no voice speking with no internet.. I hope to add thats on new update.

The look of this app is appealing and it's potential is great. The depth of the dictionary is commendable and the search speed is adequate. The Word if the Day feature is nice, but should include a syntactical example. The lack of gender is criminal considering it's fundamental importance.

The easiest way to tell whether or not a German dictionary is useful is if it includes the genders of nouns. This program does not. Since gender is an essential component of German grammar, that makes this program a waste of time and money. Also translations are only one way -- you can enter English words to find German equivalents only, not vice versa. The quiz feature is a nice addition, but not enough to warrant even the modest price of this shoddy app.
