Audio Doesn’t Work – App Is Basically Unusable
I purchased this app expecting to hear German pronunciations and practice IPA, but unfortunately the audio does not work at all.
When I search for a word, the app only displays the IPA transcription. Tapping the word, the IPA symbols, or other parts of the screen does not play any pronunciation audio. I have tried multiple words, but nothing happens.
The app also does not seem to provide a way to create a list of favorite words, which would be a basic feature for language learners.
If the app is only intended to display IPA symbols, Google can already provide that information for free. Without working audio, I do not understand the purpose of this app.
There are settings to switch between male and female voices, but since no audio plays in the first place, those options serve no practical purpose.
Please fix the audio playback issue as soon as possible. At the moment, the app is not usable for pronunciation practice, which appears to be its main purpose. I am very disappointed with this purchase.
