Schlecht

Some nice features but phrase book is limited, ie travel section doesn't contain word for airplane.

Great Translator

Needs some phrases you would use in a resturaunt... such as "May I have..." or "What comes on the..." or "Could you take off/add..." phrases like those would be EXTREMRLY helpful (Especially when I'm trying to order from Kebab Haus, that place is extremely good, but the folks there don't speak a word of English"

Emotionless

The voice is way too fast and monotone. It really sounds as if she couldn't care less.

Its awesome

Ich liebe dich it's so gud but it needs for phrases and the audio is vay too fast but other than that it's really gud please make an update soon 

World Nomads is a great place to start learning a language

World Nomads have thought about useful words and phrases to get you started if your planning a holiday overseas and have no idea about the language. In this case a German girl speaks with an Australian guy and she helps him learn some key words. The great thing here is repetition, she says it correctly then he says it with an Australian accent that can help you hear the pronunciation, German has very subtle vowel sounds and hearing the contrast between the two people is great. Very useful for getting started.

Meh...

Audio is distorted and not well paced for learning. The selection of phrases is mildly useful for a beginner when travelling, but that's about it. There are more useful free apps out there.

So easy!

I am coupling this app with a software program on my computer so that I can keep practicing away from home.

It is definately great for free but to really learn German you might consider paying for a tutor as well.

Great but...

The voice speaks waaaay too fast to fully understand. Other than that, it's great! :D

OK

Hey,it's free, so you can't complain.

Excellant interface but not much content

If they'd use this as a spingboard they could head far with it!

Mabey More Phrases?

Really good app, but mabey more phrases, otherwise Ich liebe Sie!!

Eh

Speaking needs to be slower.

Good

It's ok but there could be a bit more vocabulary.

Okay...

This app is okay except the lessons are long-winded and it seemed to go on forever. The vocabulary was good though, and the audio was easy enough to understand.

Brilliance

This is the only language app that's free that works!!!

Not fair.

This is not fair. The other asian nomad apps have the phrase "Those drugs aren't mine". How come it isn't in this German one?!

I want to go to Germany and proclaim those drugs aren't mine too!!

I'm kidding! :) Great apps...but can we have consistent sayings for all languages? Please? Thanks!

Fantastic

These are amazing! The format is really easy to use and easy to learn from, the audible and visuals are awesome. I have never picked up languages that easily but these are great, I would pay for a more comprehensive guide in an instant.
