Needs more interesting words

The interface is nice and the app is well designed. But like most of the words are direct cognates. Cafe - cafe, Park - park… not exactly the most illuminating words.

Love it! Could be even better

Exactly what I was looking for! Could use a few extra features.
1- I would love if it could be a widget that shows the word of the day.
2- When it sends a botification, it should contain the word, not just prompt you to open the app.
3- The crossword is cute, but it does not give definitions/translations. Kind of pointless as far as learning goes.

Word a day with spoken sentences as examples. Also has mini exercises. Simple yet effective app for learning vocab.

However, it does more than just that. It provides with helpful examples. Furthermore, it also gives tables with the german grammar, making easier to remember them.
