App is a scam

This app claims to be free of in-app purchases and, while that is technically true, it purposefully hides the true story.

- This app has ads. You can turn off the ads, supposedly, but it requires you to click on a specific ad, which brings you to a website to sign up for an adblocker app called “Total Adblock”. This sign up is completely predatory because the normal rate is $8.25 a month! For an adblocker! You are incentivized with a limited time discount. I have no way of verifying if this adblocker will rid me of the ads in this app, which is completely ridiculous.
- This app requires you to sign up with an email address.
- This app has a privacy policy and collects data about you.
- You must spend “tokens” to start sessions. To earn more tokens, you must watch ads. I also have no idea how subscribing to their adblocker will change the token system so I’m not limited to the number of sessions I’d like to do.
- The app also runs pretty poorly and I’m stating this on an M4 iPad Pro. Very unresponsive, laggy, and overall a poor user experience.

So, this app isn’t *really* in-app purchase free. The cost is hidden away behind a subscription to their adblocker app, which carries a monthly fee. Stay away from this app and its disgusting ways to goad and trick you into paying a monthly fee for a questionable app. If this app is like this, the adblocker is surely predatory as well. There are better options on the App Store for both.

Fantastic App

A bit rough around the edges, but I love it and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their gesture/figure drawing. Unsure if the developer is looking into releasing a paid, ad-free version with unlimited credits, but I would absolutely pay for that!

Awesome!

It a neat way to practice drawing. I like it.

Login requirement = deletion

I appreciate the developer’s response, overly dramatic though it may be! Login is a “feature” of your app and I reviewed it. Short, sweet, and to the point. I’m sorry it ruined your life. 🤣

Response from developer

Hello, I must say this is the most astonishingly useless review I have ever come across! Nevertheless, I am sincerely grateful for your contribution to bestowing upon me this extraordinary gem of a review, as it will forever hold a special place in my collection for eternity!

Good for practice

Easy to figure out, and helps practice anatomy if you’re trying to learn that. No complaints.

Perfect combo with procreate

So, duh it isn’t going to come with any stock photos. You can use your own selection of images to work with. I had an alternative version called GestureDraw I bought on cube brush and this is the mobile equivalent. You can use whole Pinterest categories or if you bought stock photos, you can que it through your files. Couldn’t have done it better. It even comes with a free baby pro create. I wouldn’t recommend it, but I were broke and couldn’t afford 10 bucks, I’d use it. This app is perfect

Great Practice Tool!

I would recommend this for Art, Animation and Cartooning!!

Great App!

A really cool app. I use it with the split view function on the iPad and Procreate. The only wish I have would be the option to add own photos.

Pretty Good!

This is a pretty good app that helped me with drawing poses and whatnot quite a bit, but I have a few question... things.

I don’t know if this is just happening to me, but every time I try to select the faces or feet, it always tells me there’s not enough photos for this category, and to try again later. I’ve had this app for a while, maybe like 1 1/2 to 2 years, and EVERY SINGLE TIME, it just says this :(. I don’t know if I’M doing something wrong, but I’ve never been able to draw from these categories so I would appreciate if this could get fixed for me.

Solid practice tool!

This is exactly what I wanted to practice timed gesture drawing. It’s a simple program with a great variety of poses - and it avoids the common flaw of women in only hyper feminine poses. I’m excited to see the image banks grow!

Great idea

The idea is great, especially since it's free. I've got some repeated images every time, but not soo much that it does bother me. Great tool, simple and easy to use, keep the good work!

The best!

Coool

Really nice

I have iPad pro and it's fantastic app
using this app on multi-window next to Procreate was all what i needed
I wish we could be able to import photos from gallery

Not bad

Just wish I could upload my own images though the images your given help a ton. Very much happy with this app and the fact that it's pretty simple to use I'll suggest it to beginners as well as pros!

Absolutely love it

I've always been bad with gesture drawings but this helps a lot

Great app, but a few issues.

Great app, but I found just a few issues while using it. If they add going back and foreword from pictures and landscape view then it will be perfect.
