Very helpful app
I’m very pleased with the app. I started doing the exercises more regularly and I believe that my pronunciation has improved. I like that the exercises are grouped into the languages of origin- this is very helpful and also that there is a feature to hear your own recording and compare to the speaker. I’ve tried a few other apps but this one is the best so far.

Useful app
It’s a very useful app to improve pronunciation. I like the playback and their examples growing in complexity from words, through simple sentences to poetry.
It could be a bit more engaging and interactive but I guess if you want to learn, you’ll put the work in regardless.
One thing to note is that it is the user’s job to identify any mistakes, so requires a good ear and some ability to spot them. I’d prefer this done by the app, but it’s probably quite a task for the developers. Overall pleased with the app and the results.

No audio, phones not on mute, deleted and re downloaded, restarted phone. Basically useless 😣
Good quality for value
I first came across Get Rid of Your Accent by chance in Waterstones in London. It came with two CDs, which was very convenient. However, there was something missing. Over time, I moved out and lost the book and CDs. When I eventually remembered the title, I bought the book again. However, you have replaced the two CDs with an application. I told myself it was to make more money. I was wrong. I must admit, however, that it improved the method. It turns the app into a genuine pronunciation laboratory. I love it!

It doesn’t even teach you well and it’s horrible and a waste of money and boring also I get entertained easily this is so boring

Good start
It’s really good for clear practice. What’s missing is an interactive element and possibility of correction, such as AI incorporated apps have. Playing back your own recording is not necessarily always enough for someone to know if they got it right.

I am Indonesian and have been living in Italy for 17 years, using Italian as my daily language. I seldom speak both my native language and English. I've owned this app along with the "Get Rid of Your Accent" book for many years, and they have greatly helped me correct my English accent. I use this app every day, even when I'm at the gym 🤩

Excellent app even for a native speaker
I am a native yet tend to slur my words and this app is excellent and very user friendly. It would be helpful to have an option to save the words you find difficult in order to have a list of words that may need more practice. I am enjoying using this app.
