About

Frontal area for you and your whole loaded bike, in cm², from one photo. A wind tunnel costs thousands. A plain wall costs nothing. Stand in front of one on your bike, have someone take a photo head-on, tap the two ends of your handlebars, and read the number. Change one thing (your elbows, your bar bag, your hands on the hoods) and shoot again. Get Tucked shows what moved, and whether it moved enough to count. WHAT IT MEASURES • Frontal area: the surface the wind sees. Rider, bike and bags, in cm². • Side-on pose, from an optional second photo: torso angle, hip angle, and how far your head drops. • Comparisons: any two setups side by side, outlines overlaid, with an estimated time difference over distance. HOW IT KNOWS THE SIZE Your handlebar width is the ruler. You enter it once. The app turns pixels into centimetres from the two bar ends you tap. No guessing from camera lenses. TOLERANCE Every reading carries a ±3% margin. If two setups differ by less than that, the app says indistinguishable, not "1.8% better". It answers "did this change anything?" better than "what is my exact number?". Frontal area is not drag, and the time estimate is a range, not a promise. WHEN THE OUTLINE IS WRONG Tap or paint to add or remove a region. A corrected measurement is marked as corrected. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No account. No login. • No analytics, no tracking, no network calls. Works offline. • Your photos never leave your phone. • No subscription. Pay once. WHAT YOU NEED An iPhone XS or newer (any iPhone that runs iOS 17), a plain and evenly lit wall, a friend to take the photo from 5 to 6m back, and your handlebar width. If you know your wheelbase and wheel diameter thats a bonus. Made by Imprecisely Accurate Instruments, in Wellington, New Zealand.
