Problem with app
I’ve had this app for 6 years. Updated it 2 weeks ago now I get a white screen after downloading maps & media. No content.

Great app giving understanding of battle
Great app with lots of information about what happened in the battle and easy to access information relevant to which park of the park you’re in.
A Must When Visiting Gettysburg
This is a great app for when visiting Gettysburg.
As you drive, bike, walk around the Battlefield the app will use GPS to show you where you are in the Battlefield and important locations and events that happened there.
You can have the app show you information by day of the battle and by the forces at Battle —for example, show the actions of Union forces on Day 2.
Some of the people in my group did not have cellular signal at all places on the Battlefield and the app has the ability to download the maps in case you don’t have signal.
I highly recommend the app when you visit Gettysburg —it adds a lot of information and makes the experience more educational and more informative.

Truely fantastic App
We were about to buy the audio tour from the gift shop when someone mentioned this app to me. What a great suggestion. The GPS enabled map is a masterpiece. The write ups at each stop are concise and informative. The audio and video inserts are great too. Someone spent a LOT of time on this app. A masterpiece. can’t believe it is free. Thanks. Can’t recommend enough.

Not Useful
Expected an audio tour with audio triggered by GPS location. This app was no better than the Park Service map
Amazing app! Very simple to use.
Our family used the GPS option of this app as we followed the park's Auto Tour signs. The Auto Tour map provided by the Visitors Center only has short paragraphs summarizing points. While this app is very informative, well organized, and full of historical photos to help visitors better understand the progression of the three days of the battle.

So impressed! Informative and useful during Gettysburg trip
I am so impressed by this app, and it really added to our Gettysburg trip. I read through the battle overview ahead of time, and then we used the map while doing the auto tour to get more in-depth information. Definitely download if heading to Gettysburg.

Great app!
We used this app for three days touring the battle field. It has more facts and stops than the driving tour at the visitors center and the map shows you exactly where you are on the battle field and how to her to any point you want. Not quite 5 star worthy but still better than renting a personnel guide.

Battlefield App Gettysburg
This is the second battlefield app that I have in this series. 100% satisfied. Great features with plenty of interesting facts . Any one with the slightest interest in the American civil war will get a lot of pleasure from this series of apps n all that.

Save the $20 + at the gift shop
Used this app during the 150th Anniversary celebration and it worked great!
Update now includes whole battlefield.
I haven't had a chance to check out all the additions, but this app used to only include devils den and little round top. Now all 3 days of the battle are included! Will be using this on my second trip ever to Gettysburg later this year

I'm download this app, I hope it will be good so I got it! I will love the civil war till I die. I hope they where make a re-enactment for the kids to do. That will be so cool. Hope this app is worth it
Love the maps
Taking my son there for re-enactment the next 2 years. Thik this will be a big help as I looked at it but know much of gettysburg. Son is more thrilled about it than I am. He heard me say it had Devil's den and that was enough. I want more apps like this.

This was a great tool to have on my trip to Gettysburg. The best part is that you can get a lot out of the app even off the battlefield, because unfortunately, you can't stay there forever. The battlefield challenges are a great addition as well. 😊 AND it's free!!!!!! I just downloaded the Bull Run app for my next battlefield outing and it looks just as good. Even if you never plan on checking out Gettysburg, this app is for you.
