Terrible quality for price
App feels like is from 2010 and has ads everywhere, even after paying annual fees. It’s a money machine and doesn’t even give you good data as the entry options are limited. Poor quality app for such a large organization
Unstable
Unstable during posting of scores. Got locked up in the round and was unable to restart or post score. Lost the round data. Had to uninstall and reinstall per help desk. Really? In 2026? Not as good as other golf apps.

It’s the main most popular app for keeping up w your handicap so it should be 5 stars/ flawless app in my opinion maybe have a place where ppl could see each others scores from local scores // maybe offer place to have their phone # or something that can help golfers get acquaintance w one another
Bad App
I have spent multiple times trying to pay for the membership through the app with no luck. I messaged support for usga and it’s been 10 days no response
Never works for me out on the course
I mentioned that my renewal was coming up on my GHIN app subscription when talking to a friend today. His immediate response was, “Oh, I hate that app! It never works for me while playing.”
That’s the rub with me as well. I can see how my stocks are performing, check email, or order stuff from Amazon while I’m on the course. But get a view of the 12th hole, forget it. It’s simply not reliable when I need it the most.

Poor Customer Service
I have written GHIN three times explaining that once the Trial expired I purchased the membership but have not been given access to the app at all. All I keep getting is that the Trial has ended to sign up. So I’m stuck with a hand full of score cards that need posting. GHIN has left me very disappointed.

Used to work until they messed with it.
Working great for years and after they did an update it now wants me to login all the time and I lost all my other golfers on the app.
Good but one suggestion
I enjoy using the app. Free version yardages are fairly accurate and the scoring easy to use.
Would like to have more game stats (chips, green side bunkers, penalties, etc) as found on competing apps.
I like the stat percentages after the round but would like the raw numbers displayed as well instead of having to return to the scorecard.

Not Good
The app drops scores from the card after inputting scores / stats during the round. Worst golf app I have used.
Lacks reliability
Just about as reliable as my golf game.
Bug
After hitting “play” and selecting the course then hole by hole with stats when you try and pick the tees the wheel does not go away to move forward to keeping your score. Hope that makes sense. Thanks
Edit: the “done” button after selecting tees is white on a grey background. It works but extremely hard to see. Please fix. Thanks.

Can’t select tees
Can’t select tees
Can’t log a round
The app is not letting me finish setting up a round to play. It won’t let me make a selection for tee’s or date played.
Doesn’t work on 9 holes
It will not record your score on 9 holes, hole by hole. And if you select 9 holes at the beginning, it won’t let you select the tees. If you try to enter 9 holes it tells you you have to enter a score on 9 holes, even if you have a score on every one of 9 holes. It just gives an error. Wish it worked for stats purposes. But I have to delete my round after keeping score on the course and just add the total. Nobody in the pro shop could figure it out either.

One thing
It would be really nice if there was an Ai to tell me what scores I need to shoot to lower my handicap. I have scores that confuse me why my handicap goes up so much and I’d like to know why. Other than that it is a great app.

Not sure why but I can’t select a tee??
Integrate with Apple Health
I walk when playing all the time. App works well enough but it should log steps and a workout into Apple Health. Almost every other golf app does that (like the Grint and the Garmin golf app).

Buggy
Doesn’t work now. GPS does not allow you to select tees, therefore you can’t start a round. Needs to be fixed
Can’t change tees
It’s a helpful app when not glitching out. After it knows a course, you can’t meter a score from different tees.
