About
Ghoomy turns your boarding passes into a map of where you have been.
Scan a pass and the flight appears as an arc on a globe you can spin. Scan the next one, and the one after that, and the shape of your travelling starts to show — the routes you repeat, the oceans you have crossed, the places you keep meaning to go back to.
HOW IT WORKS
Scan the barcode. Most printed boarding passes carry a PDF417 barcode with the flight details inside it. Ghoomy reads it on your phone, and nothing is transmitted.
No barcode yet? Pick a photo or screenshot of the pass, and Ghoomy reads it for you. Booking confirmations and emailed itineraries work too — useful before check-in, when no barcode has been issued.
Or type it in. Flight number, airports, date. It takes half a minute.
WHERE YOUR FLIGHTS LIVE
In your own iCloud, in a private database only you can reach. Not on our servers. Sign in with Apple and your log follows you between your devices.
WHAT YOU GET
A globe you can turn, with every route you have flown drawn across it
Every boarding pass kept — times, dates, terminal and gate
A running count of the airports and countries you have passed through
Light and dark, both properly designed
Works offline: the airport data is in the app, not behind an API
No ads. No analytics. No tracking of any kind.
