Great game but it died

I loved this game!! After solving all the mysteries, a player can continue accumulating diamonds, coins, etc. When I tried to open a room to continue playing, I received error messages. After a few weeks the technical team is not able to resolve the problem. I am so disappointed‼️

Game doesn’t save

As I progress the game has stopped saving. I can’t collect beads for the daily challenge. I have reached out for help and haven’t received a response. Don’t bother playing this game because it will only frustrate you

Super jeu…Mais…

Le jeu est vraiment chouette, mais l’application n’arrête pas de s’arrêter en disant que ma connection est mauvaise (ce qui n’est pas vrai) . Bref, l’application redémarre , sans avoir fait de sauvegarde… Et je parle de plusieurs niveaux. Très frustrant car j’adore le jeu… Et se repasser tous les dialogues et les interactions, c’est vraiment pénible. Ça revient toujours au même endroit. Bref après deux fois, j’abandonne .

The allotted time isn’t enough. If you find everything with time left it should go to the next search. There are more items to find in the second and third searches. This is why I gave it 3 stars.

Unplayable/Network Connection Errors

The last week or so in March 2026, this game abruptly stopped working. Despite an a app update a few days ago (about April 1), the same problem persists: Every time I open the app, it seems to start normally, my Netflix gamer name flashes on screen in the corner (as usual), then an error message would pop up about being unable to connect to the network/to check my Internet connection. The problem wasn't on my end as other apps and Safari had no problem connecting the my Internet network. Hard restarting the app and my iPad didn't help.

Before the most recent update, I would have given this game about 4 stars. I'm not a huge fan of "Hidden Object" games, but this is different enough from what I usually come across that I'm willing to stick with it. Overall, not the best game out there, but it is interesting enough to play a little each day. It avoids the tendency in"Hidden Object" games to make scenes a crowded closet or store full of detailed objects. The storyline of being a ghost solving your own murder is a bit predictable, but this at least adds a different twist to the genre. The best part of Ghost Detective is probably the way it uses its setting of New Orleans to explore the culture of the city.

No longer working

I really enjoyed this game, but the last week it won't connect. Given I can't find a way to easily message for support, I assume this game is no longer available to play through Netflix. Yet another game loss. Disappointed.

Game crashes

Persistent instability. Game crashes every time I log on and play for more than 5 minutes. Less than one star if that’s possible

Well made but not relaxing

The game does a good job of starting to world-build but is too challenging to sustain a casual interest. Have played lots of hidden object games and they mostly got the balance right of puzzles in the way of story whereas this game is too challenging and unforgiving requiring a player to give up a huge chunk of loot to retry. Anyway, realized I was getting stressed too early and failing levels repeatedly. Otherwise it’s a well made game. I love how integrated the objects are and how a lot of them are even animated. Shame it’s just too hard to be a “casual” game for me.

I love this game, and have played it twice. I’d love to see more cases and locations added to have continuous enjoyment. Louisiana has so much history and stories that could possibly be added. Hopefully there will more added.

Ridiculous

I just played a single hunt at least 12 times in a row and didn’t get the article I need. I’m at level 102 and I’m going to delete the game. The amount of grinding at this point is beyond acceptable.

Frustration

It starts giving you 2 minutes then 1.5 and it becomes more difficult. The goal is always to get you to spend money for additional hints, etc.

So Fun!

I really love this game and the story line. All the cool places to search, the variation in items, and now the ability to change the level of difficulty by changing the amount of time to find items is great! The only downside is I have so completely close the game every so often to get it to save my progress.

Love the story, but dislike the grind fest

I would give it 4-5 stars but the never-ending grinding takes the fun out of the experience.

Enjoy the story and its characters, the settings and the different scenes BUT, as many others have pointed out, in order to progress in the main storyline you have to collect clues and spectral binders. This means sometimes playing same levels a bunch of times. Like… a BUNCH. Then, when you finallyyyyy get all the clues you realize you’re short on the spectral binders. On top of that, if you want to bypass it by using your saved gems, you don’t have enough either. So what can you do? Continue to search the same scenes over and over again. Bye bye fun.

Dear Devs, hear the players out and take the extreme grinding requirements down a notch (or ten). It simply takes enjoyment out of an otherwise good game.

Mostly a good game but currently won’t open at all keeps insisting I use an internet connection and my internet connection works fine for other games. Disappointing as there hasn’t been any updates to this game for a long time.

It’s an okay game to pass the time, however I cannot open it anymore as I keep getting error messages to connect to the internet. Which I am.
