Garbage
Don’t waste your money on buying one of these. The app doesn’t work at all for you to connect to the drone that works with the GR 2.0 but says that the app is not compatible with the GR 1.0 very disappointed in this and I want my money back what a waste of money.

This app does not work, its a complete mess. The gbox does not connection to the actual phone itself and this app is suppose to help you but they never reach out to you and help its all a gimmick and lie. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
It works well
At first I couldn't connect my app with my Gbox but after restarted the app it fixed itself. Then I spent some time figuring the binding issue and found out that you have to start binding before put on the battery. Everything else worked well. I tried 2 or 3 times very carefully and haven't encountered any major problem with my Ghost. Just be careful and follow the instruction step by step.

NO SPEED CONTROL
The actual drone is pretty great but the company has very poor communication unless you talk to them directly and they still haven't followed through on all of their promises...
They promised us the Ghost Drone can fly up to 49mph and that we would be able to control the speed "soon". but it's been 8 months since the Ghost drone came out and I've asked several times about a timeline for speed control (it's current top speed is only 10mph) and always the same reply, "soon".
Also they release major changes/upgrades without informing anyone. the latest app download is only for wifi model G-Boxes but I didn't know until after waiting for E-Hangs support to email me back because I downloaded it and my drone stopped working.
E-Hangs I like your drone but PLEASE give us a timeline for the speed control and warn us of major changes!!!

One month in....And waiting.
I have had my Drone for a month, and it has been able to fly once. Tech. support is OK, but needs a lot of improvements. The issue at first was a hardware incompatiblity issue from the manufactorer. So sent drone back for fixing, and got it back just before App update. Flew it once, and then the app updated and I am back to no connection via wifi. I like the idea, but so far I am not impressed with the execution. They need to put way more into their tech support if they are going to hope to be successful. Way to many companies coming behind them and I promise you they will learn from these issues that are well documented on the web.

Total honesty here...
Look, I'm going to be totally honest.. When this app/drone connect and are syncing, it's a beautiful thing.. Drone flys smoothly and is really nice.. Now with this newest update my Bluetooth will not connect to gbox! Doesn't even show up in my phone as connectible either!!! I know it's not my phone or gbox because I have an older version of this App and it successfully connects. This is a pretty big bug that needs addressed pretty quickly. Address this and this thing will finally be ready to fly..

Horrendous
I had some meager expectations for this drone, but the app and the g-box don't even connect and there are literally no directions anywhere. iOS App horrible. You guys need to fix up or give up.

I, too, am having problems connecting the Gbox to my iPhone. The company needs to fix this or stop advertising that it is iOS accessible.

So great!
When everything works correctly the app is brilliant. It has no problems to bing with my drone, and get anything I could expect from Bluetooth. I see couple users have connecting issues. I had the same issues before. Guys, just try to turn on Bluetooth on you smartphone, pair your phone with G-Box, and go to setting, tap "bind", and then connect the battery. Do not connect the battery before binding. After binding successful,the map will update to your current location automatically.

Doesn’t Work
Like the drone it is a piece of junk. Will not connect, shows it is in China. The drone’s props are so out of balance that taking any video is a waist unless you like wobble. The drone’s battery falls out and the battery door doesn’t latch; you have to tape it shut. The remote POV only works if you are within thirty feet and the worst part is that the off switch doesn’t turn it off. If it crashes it will just keep running until you pull the battery.

Decent
I too had the same issue as previous reviewers where the map shows that I'm in China. However when I connect the G-Box and turn on the drone the map updates to my actual location. Works as advertised a lot of room for improvement though specifically with the English translations.
New gbox same problems
does not work! support gave me an excuse about IOS G-Box or not so they sent me a new G-Box that is actually IOS well, I still get the dame map in China and nothing works! What is the excuse now? It is rubbish!!!!!
Not happy
This is the worst app, dose not work at all the binding step is a joke, makes me wonder did i just blow my cash on this junk? I’m calling support if not this thing is going back !!!
iOS system doesn’t work yet
Same issues as reviewer obitexas. Map app shows I’m somewhere in China, while any other location-based service on my phone indicates I’m in Austin, TX, USA App pop-ups are poorly worded — not clear what the intent of menus is (e.g. clicking on “Binding” yields a pop up with two choices: “Stop Binding” or “Cancel”. What’s the difference? No explanation of this menu anywhere that I can see or find. Drone will not start up, will not report data on position through the g-box to the iPhone. App and hardware not ready for prime time.

Still doesn't work
Have had my drone a week and have not been able to get it into the air with this app! Map doesn't update, always shows China, doesn't show how many satellites connected (even though blue lights steady showing satellites connected), etc. Too many flaws to list here.
Not ready
I have not been able to get my iPhone to connect to the gbox bluetooth at all. The drone seems to work but I can not communicate with it so it does nothing. They need to resolve.
Won't find G-Box/Can't connect to drone!
I can't even get the drone in the air because the app won't connect to the G-Box! After contacting Ghost about the issue twice, they still have yet to answer back. So far it has been a miserable experience. This needs to be fixed now!
Some bugs to fix.
After I have tried to use I am having trouble getting it to search for the g-box. I hit research and nothing happens please fix as soon as possible I am looking forward to flying.
