5 stars
By far the best Ad blocker out there. An easy 5 stars.
Absolutely the best
I use this on Safari on all my Apple devices. I found it absolutely brilliant. If a website (and I’m thinking of YouTube here) won’t load properly, I can temporarily disable Ghostery.
It is very configurable, and shows you the kind of invasive behaviour that would've happened before using it.
I make an annual donation to Support Ghostery, even though it’s free, and I urge everyone else to do the same.
I wouldn't be without it!

Was Great…
This was a great app, but now it increasingly fails to block ads.
The best
Was having big issues with pop up ads on my favorite site. Quick install and no more pop ups. Great!
Ghostery is easy
Ublock Origin is not the same anymore. After searching, I found Ghostery and it doesn’t take many resources. Block ads and tracking really well. I recommend it and privacy is really good too.
Seems Too Good to be True!
I have been using this adblocker for about 6 months now, and I will say it is by far the best free one you can find. Does not cause lagging or much issues, and it’s so simple to set up on your device. The only reason I put four stars instead of five is due to some videos or images not loading because of the Adblock. So, in other words, it does too good of a job sometimes haha. But nothing is truly five stars, but if you are looking for a great, free, quality adblocker, this is the way to go! I hope to continue using Ghostery, so please don’t mess it up for us y’all

Works but kills loading speed
Took me a while to realize it was Ghostery making safari so painfully slow. 10 to 20 seconds to load each page. It got so bad on that nothing would load at all and i had to create a new safari profile (i named it “please be quicker”). Eventually figured out when i had ghostery enabled is when i would run into issues with loading pages.
While it does help decrease the amount of ads and pop ups pretty significantly, there are still some ads that get through the block. I’d give it a 4/5 stars if it weren’t for the loading speed issue.

Does not block ads.
Does not block ads. Can’t say more, YouTube, Amazon, doesn’t even stop pop ups.
SPAMS MY BROWSER DEMANDING REVIEW
Here's your review -- SUCKS
Not blocking ads
I opened a website I know is commonly infested with ads (a Fandom wiki) and every single ad was displayed. Ghostery did nothing.
Awesome Adblocker
This is an awesome adblocker and tracker!!!! So glad the AppStore still has quality apps.
New Blue Ghostery is the Best Consumer AdBlocker
I used to have the Old Ghostery, and AdBlock. I dropped AdBlock, and upgraded to the new, blue, free Ghostery, and made them a small donation. Running two ad blockers exponentially gums up your computer as they tangle code. Especially if you have a Mac, Ghostery keeps everything extremely streamlined. They have privacy in mind. It works seamlessly with glitchy ad filled sites like TSN and ESPN. Love it, especially the upgrade!

Simply does not work
I installed this and cannot turn even it on. I worked with AI to try multiple fixes and eventually just gave up and installed something else that works fine.
Doesn’t really seem to work
It’s breaking pages, but not blocking pop ups, banners, or requests for permission to use cookies. Oh well back to AdGuard I suppose.
Scam app! Don’t waste your money is useless
I purchase this app and has no use don’t waste your money is scam
Amazing
So good, I started using the Fandom Wiki again. 👍
Excellent
One of the best. I highly recommend it.
Do not download
Terrible app, it usually doesn’t block ads, and my webpages on safari were loading so slowly for the longest time and I couldn’t figure out why. Eventually realized that it was because of this terrible app. I genuinely don’t recommend using this if you can avoid it - there are other ways to remove ads, I promise you.

I just works!
Love this privacy blocker. It does everything I need it to do and it does it well. Very reliable. It's one of the very few extensions I trust. Thank you Ghostery!
Ghostery review
Hopefully blocks a significant amount of trackers. Took off one star for number of pages it breaks and another for bugging me to review it.
