About

GhostFrame turns one photo a day into a film of your life. Pick a subject — your face, your kitchen renovation, the apple tree out back, your toddler — and shoot it from the same angle every day. GhostFrame fades yesterday's photo over the live camera so you nail the alignment in seconds, then stitches every shot into a smooth timelapse you can share. Why it's different: • Ghost-frame alignment — yesterday's shot is faintly overlaid on the live viewfinder, so the framing matches without measuring or guessing • Multiple projects — track your face, your plant, and your renovation as separate films, side by side • Instant timelapse — composed on-device at 4 to 60 fps; no upload, no waiting, no account • Captions, built in — turn any timelapse (or any video from your library) into a captioned clip: auto-transcribe on-device, or add captions by hand, in six caption styles • Local-first by design — every photo and video stays on your phone, nothing uploads, nothing is tracked, the app works on airplane mode • Gentle daily reminder — pick a time, get one nudge, never see a streak shamer Unlimited projects, unlimited film length, 1080p export — no watermark, no subscription, no account. A year from now you won't remember today. Start a frame, and your future self will press play.

What's New in GhostFrame

GhostFrame timelapses can talk now. • Captions — turn any exported timelapse, or any video from your library, into a captioned clip. Transcribe it on your device with Speech Recognition, or type the captions yourself and retime them exactly how you want. • Six caption styles, and a one-tap hand-off straight from a fresh timelapse export into the caption editor. • Fixed on iPhone: in the camera, the close and flip-camera buttons could be laid out past the edge of the screen, which made it impossible to switch to the front camera. Selfie projects work properly again, on every iPhone size. • Everything still happens on your device. No upload, no account, works in airplane mode. Thank you for shooting with GhostFrame.
