Don’t waste your money

Had GHOSTLINE for just over a month, decided to download and try 6 different stencils apps and this isn’t that great. Subscribed to unlock the pro version, and haven’t yet been able to produce a useable stencil. Worth mentioning that I use a thermal stencil printer and only wanted an app to help with the realism pieces that I get in but this app can’t produce a clean enough line based stencil that I would feel comfortable using for work.

Useless

Terrible useless attempts at stencils can’t believe they wanted payment for a app that is terrible to use

Ok but ……NOT Fair !!!

A membership is unnecessary because the app tat stencil ,does everything you can do on this app for free 😒,but I respect the hustle I guess, but don’t expect me to stick around for the long haul …there is a lot of free apps out there and they are upgrading with A.I enhanced technology.. This is the only thing make it a one time fee ,OR Better yet ,Free APP like your competitors!!!!

Don’t waste your $

This app not always but often leave a quarter inch gap out of the stencil so you still have to draw that bit on. You’re better off printing the image into quarters yourself and not wasting money on this app. If you are looking to use this for large back projects. It’s pretty terrible for that use

JP tattoos

Love the easiness/ just edit and print!!!!!

Apprentices: don’t pay to make stencils

There are plenty of free apps to make stencils. Paying $6 a month to use an app with hardly any advanced controls is not necessary. If you need to upscale an image, do it in Photoshop or a free online resource.

JPEG

Please for the love of god make the files able to save as just jpeg in images .

I like this app a lot . If there could be a way to save the reference part as an image would be great. Also, adding the reference part in the edit part so you can see the original design as your erasing would be cool too

Time-saving Savior

The absolute best app for stenciling. Used to use a website but this app is way more handy. Does stenciling and so much more. Love that it prints to size without resizing on printer or procreate.

I can see why people are confused as to how to use it, but you should watch a tutorial it takes 1 minute to get it down and understand it.

For people complaining about the price, its the cost of one flash tattoo a year. It’s the cost of one dinner per year. If it makes life better for you, why not pay that little amount which will keep the app to develop instead of staying stagnant?

Garbage

Most confusing stencils I’ve ever seen in my life. It loses half the important information and emphasizes irrelevant details that just make your stencils confusing and hard to follow. Stenciling by hand takes way longer, but I’d rather spend hours doing that then follow this easy hack that will only make your tattoos look lazier.

Great app, worth the purchase

I have nothing but good things to say about this app. This is my go to for quickly making excellent stencils. Figured I’d just try the free trial and bounce, but had to pay for it after I realized there’s no better app for the job. Hands down the best purchase I’ve made for tattooing prep work. Thanks for the great app!

Hidden monthly subscription

There's a hidden monthly subscription as soon as you open the app and there's no way to get past the screen unless you pay

Don’t buy

Horrible only lets you choose from 3 options and each doesn’t let you thin or stencil an outline only makes the image color light or dark waste of money

No need for this app to be subscription based. Cheaper/better alternatives are available

It does what it says, but I would love to know why this app utilizes a subscription model? Does it provide a myriad of new features every month or every year? Does it use heavy bandwidth for the developers? Did it cost millions in capitol to create this app so they have to recoup the costs in perpetuity? A subscription model makes sense for something like the Adobe Suite, where you are literally bombarded with new features and updates every month. In this case, it is a simple as greed. Again it is a good app, but you don’t have to choose a subscription model for the sake of siphoning money from people every month/year for an app that simply creates stencils. Other apps provide this at a fraction or the cost for a one time cost. This is not a comprehensive editing suite. Currently this app’s subscription is set at $6/month or $60/year. Compare this to Adobe Express, which gives you Photoshop Express and Adobe Firefly, costing $10/month. We all enjoy making money, but please be reasonable.

Stiff Rakoon Ink

I have a studio in downtown HB at Pacific City, and this is my go to stencil app, saves time!

Great app, won’t be subscribing

Unfortunately the subscription service has made my mind up for me. Procreate isn’t perfect, but it’s worth penny. If the charge were the flat 50-60$ I’d definitely buy the program, but the pay to play platform and I disagree on a fundamental level. I’m passing on this because of the greedy nature of the marketing. Had to kick photoshop to the curb for the same reason. I’ll be back when this becomes reasonable.

Pricing all wrong

Sometimes an App can be good even great.
But if the pricing is all wrong then you get high returns on a low number and far less people to people free positive advertizing.

By offering only subscriptions ( high priced ) for this App they are shooting themselves in the foot. On what could be a much larger user base.

My suggestions are:

Lower monthly and yearly subscriptions prices.

Do offer a Lifetime option under 100 $

The app looks like a very fine App but i couldn’t even test it due to your pricing model.

Free to download , pay in app

Kind of a weird type of false advertising. So it’s free to download so you think you lucked up just to get to the splash page and hit with a paywall

Game changer

I love this app. It took me a little while to get used to it because I’ve used line drawing stencils for so long but I couldn’t live without it now.
Saves me so much time, I can finalise a design in the morning with a client and get straight on with it without having them wait half hour for me to make a stencil.
I’m using an old brother pocket jet to make the stencils, seems to work pretty well.
