Hickory ick

Adds ruin app

The app is useless, because the whole point of this app is the be able to hear what you can’t hear around you. But, you can’t hear what you want to hear using this app because of being constantly interrupted by loud adds.

Giant Ear

Absolutely excellent. Has very few phone specific glitches. Improved my life greatly.

iPhone 11 immediate odd behaviors.

Screen started dimming, whole phone started slowing down. Halted and removed the app immediately and rebooted. Phone seems ok but can’t trust the app now.

Response from developer

you can stop running in background by double home and close the app

Lives up to claims!

This app does what it claims and very well!
I do hope that the developers will continue and come up with a solution for the delay ( which they point out) when using ear pods instead of wired

Microphone

Disappointed that the Headset Microphone button is nonfunctional, that alone is a deal breaker.

Response from developer

you can receive support by e-mail if you give details about your headset and how it is not functioning

Scam

Impossible to rate a hearing app in under 5 minutes free trial. In the 5 minutes, I did detect lag and echo. Won’t pay for a pig in a poke. Buh bye

Developer response. FOR YOUR INFORMATION, I did use headphones connected with a wire.

Response from developer

for the best practice you should use with cable earphones, bluetooth may cause latency. some wired (non original) headphones use also bluetooth.

5 minute limit....

...then they ask you to buy! Not very clear reception, so not worth paying, which I didn't. At least they allow 5 minute / hour to try it.
