Great Bible
I’ve installed several Bible apps, but the Gideon Bible app is the best. Is it sound effects and expressive reading. Being able to get the Bible in audio means a lot to me.
Frustration
Very frustrated. I love the app, but I’ve hooked it up to my Vehicle so I can listen when I’m driving through Bluetooth., It’s something within the app. It comes on soon as I turn on the truck on. I’ll pause it and then and it starts playing again by itself whenever I make a phone call hang up we restart the truck. I went to listen to it when I’m ready not when. It can be very distracting when trying to drive and concentrate.

I love this Bible app it’s my go to electronic Word of God so easy to use and read or it reads to me I can’t praise the Gideon bible app enough just like the Gideon’s New Testament I was given in school hallelujah
Doesn’t work more than half the time.
If by chance you are booted out and you try to log back in even though you have saved your credentials, they won’t work and then when you request an email to change it, it doesn’t bother to send an email and don’t even try putting it on your iPad cause it’s not gonna happen.

I love the little pocket sized Gideons bibles because they’re so cute and dear to my heart because I got one as a child after school and I loved my little bible. Now I get to read or listen on my phone, tablet, laptop or car! I love it!!

Don’t Like
I can’t sign in and when finally I do sign in from time to time it doesn’t work because it keeps spinning instead of going to the Bible. Also, when I finally do get it to play, it skips the first couple verses, and the little shaded area doesn’t follow along when it gets to the end of the verse it stops and then I have to try and get the next verse to go, but it keeps spinning and spinning please help me

It’s OK downloading the entire Bible and the app runs fine, but it takes forever to download.
Lock Screen scriptures
Nothing wrong with the app,just would be cool if they did a daily scripture that shows up on your Lock Screen. ❤️🔥
August 2025 bug??
This has been my absolute favorite audio Bible app up to this point. Within the last week, it stopped playing King James version for me, then it automatically signed me out, and now it will not let me sign back in using my Apple account. No matter what I do, it will not take me past the sign in screen.I can’t even get into the app to send a message to the support team. Hopefully someone from the support team reads this!
