Needs a lot of work
i had this app for four years and it worked decently. it glitched a couple times and the quality of the videos would sometimes be unclear, but it worked. Last month i noticed that it always says “Unable to save this gif” to twitter videos when i attempted to save them. I tried deleting everything i had on the app, and even deleting the app itself and then redownloading it again. It doesn’t work anymore. Don’t waste your time with this app, just screen-record it and save your time.

It’s been good.
Not here to bash the Dev. The app isn’t working because Elon change twitter api. Not the Dev fault. The app use to work perfectly fine for me, it’s come to an end and that’s fine cause I had a good run lol. Everybody that’s bashing the dev clearly doesn’t know anything which is expected. Hopefully they fix but if not I had a good run.

Deserves 5. But right now also Deserves 1.
For obvious reasons, it deserves 5 because it did it’s job. As a user for over 2 years I’ve never once came across an issue until now! Hence why I’m so annoyed I wish I could be ignorant enough to give it 1 star. So I came to a middle ground. Now if this problem persists for any much longer it’ll be at 1 star (we’ve been suffering with the inability to download our videos for well over a month now)

Awful as no app support and app no longer works!
The app used to be great (except for the short videos limitations) but has just stopped working and will no longer save gifs or videos. Contacted support and they are pretty much useless and seem not to care. Their only suggestion was an automated email saying to update the app, meanwhile the app is up to date, and impossible to get another response from them.

Just go ahead and delete it
This app used to work amazingly. Now every gif or video on Twitter shows a “Unable to save this gif — [Report] [OK]” regardless of whether you update, uninstall/reinstall, or quit and reopen the Gifitize app numerous times, it still never works anymore. Synchronize a bummer that I have to find a new gif saver app because I really did love this app back when it actually worked. Now it doesn’t do much of anything other than take up storage space on my phone. So I’m deleting it for good.

Good for the most part
I’ve been using this app for the past few months now to download gifs and videos on Twitter, and up until a few weeks ago, it’s been working great. However, as of recently, any and all gifs and videos are unable to be saved to Gifitize, no matter what I try. I don’t know if this is a global issue, but it kind of defeats the purpose of the app if everything fails to save.

Can’t get any help!
Can’t get any support. It stopped working with Twitter. I sent reports through Twitter which went unanswered and I came to the App Store to get help & the the web help doesn’t work. I went through the help on the app and got one email that said to update to version 3.1. I’m on version 3.2.3 and it doesn’t work. I see there’s a 3.3 version but no option to update. I used to love this app and would have given it a 5 star rating last week but now it’s nothing but frustrating and worse after paying for it, it doesn’t work at all. Just a shame!

I’ve been using this app for over a year without issues. it was the perfect app to save gifs and reaction videos, however, as of last week, every time i try to save anything i get a message that says “unable to save”. i’ve deleted and reinstalled, which did nothing. i tried contacting support, but the page it links to doesn’t let you submit inquiries. looking at this page it appears the last update was over a year ago, so it looks like this might be a dead app. 🤡

It’s my favorite but…
it’s the best app to save gifs on twitter! or so i thought? sometimes there will be problems saying it was an unsuccessful save, and then sometimes it just saves a video from a tweet someone qrted w a gif. that was my recent observation. if that makes sense? a well with how all my gifs i’m trying to save are sent to the videos side and not the GIFS when its clearly a GIF. so now i have to convert it to gifs…which annoys me and i see no purpose to even have this app if i have to go to a site and covert everything i have downloaded.

Good review, little change
Actually a pretty good app, mostly use it for Twitter when there’s a funny gif or meme reaction so that’s cool. A little change that would be cool to see is when you save something on Twitter and the prompt pops up making you press ‘OK’, instead of the prompt popping up it’d be cool to just see ‘SAVED’ with a check mark maybe or something else instead of pressing ‘OK’

Crashing
I love the app, but recently I haven’t been able to use it. Every time I try to open the app it immediately closes :(
Flat out doesn’t work
It wasn’t allowing me to select gifs to paste in my text messages from the messaging app. When I went to the app itself to send the gif, it shut down altogether. I’ve un and reinstalled the app 5 times now, and when I tap on it, I see a thumbnail of some document, then it goes away. App is completely unusable. I enjoyed using this app when it was working. Oh well.

If app doesn’t work after an update…
Was having problems with the app not showing up at all in Twitter after an update. Just delete the app, restart your phone, and then reinstall. Worked for me.

Improve quality of downloads please!
I love this app and always recommend it because it’s so useful! But the one qualm i have about it is i ask that you guys please work on mainting the original quality of what we download to our phones with this app! I have found that everything rendered through this app with poor quality than what the source was. Please fix this asap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good app but bad ad interface.
A good app. This app is better than using download bots on Twitter. But there’s only one complaint. There are some ads in this app that could be impossible to skip because the X button is impossible to press or off-screen on some devices like the iPhone 11
Not working anymore
This was a good app up until the point where recently it says “unable to download gif” no matter the browser, site, or app I try to download the gif from. I’ve updated it and made sure the app had full access in my phone settings but still not working. Probably just going to delete it at this point.

The FPS of all gifs is cut in half which isn’t the biggest problem since I mainly use this for vids but sometimes when you got to save a video it’s it doesn’t work and the error message pops up “Gifitize is unable to save this video”. I just found it super hilarious the the explanation for the app not working is basically “just cause lol”. Uninstalled

Perfect with a little more work.
If you’ve updated your phone and you get the error message saying it can’t be saved just uninstall/redownload gifitize again, then go on Twitter and hold down on any picture and click save to photos, the option to allow access to your photos should come up and everything will work again after you allow access. Had to troubleshoot for two days to figure that out haha. Great app otherwise!

Extremely glitchy crashes other apps
I’ve had to stop using Gifitize and just screen record my videos. I use this app mostly for Twitter and it will try to save a gif for at one time 12 minutes it doesn’t let you stop/cancel the save process and either crashes the app on its on or forces you to close out the app. If you’ve used this app you know it’s extremely inconvenient especially if you were reading something from hours before.
I almost bought the ad free version because at other times it’ll tell you your que is full when it actually isn’t they just want you to watch the ads. During the several times this app didn’t want to save the gif if I went and watched an ad magically the gif would save. It twirls so long it doesn’t even allow you to report the problem it just crashes the whole app.
