Too many commercials
It makes no sense for an app like this to have commercials. After each entry, a commercial pops up on your screen, and you have to watch it to proceed to the next entry. Such a waste of time!
So slow and unresponsive
Tried for ages this morning to use the app and log some gifts, the problem is you have to add a contact to each gift logged (??) which is annoying since it is just for my own reference, not to thank anyone through the app. However it just freezes for ages when you try to add a contact, or blanks out the confirmed “tick” with the word “cancel” so it’s near enough impossible!

I was looking for something to streamline my entire year of gift planning, where I could input friends and family’s birthdays and it would automatically prompt me to plan gifts however long before.
This feels less about recurring events (mother’s day, christmas, etc) and more about one-off hosted events like a birthday party. This is far less useful this way in my opinion, so I will look for something else.

Gorgeous beautiful app

Still a few issues
This is a great app conceptually, but when I got it and went to input data there were a couple things I didn’t like. First, I really HATE that you have to create an account. I’ve used another Christmas gift app fir years and didn’t have to do that. It makes me feel like they want to track what I’m looking at so they can sell my info for targeted ads. That may not be the case but certainly is my impression, so I don’t like that.
I cam get over that though if the app functionality was exactly what I had in mind. I like it for the most part but the biggest issue is the inability to Mark something as a gift idea and the inability to associate gifts with specific dates/holidays. The gifts organize in an alphabetical list - one long list - that includes gifts given abd received by any given contact. For me, since I gift the same people over and over, this list will get cumbersome quickly. The app is close but not quite getting to the level of detail I need.

Has potential but needs help
Changed to one star from 3 Stars. Cannot print or email information. No response to technical questions.
Original review: There is hope for this app but it’s cumbersome, crashes, doesn’t auto save, slow etc. I tried it for Christmas but I don’t know if I’ll continue using it. Just didn’t make things much easier. I would love to give further feedback to the developer.

Can’t get it to work
Downloaded and signed up but can’t get it to work, each time I try to sign in it just whirls. I’ve attempted to sign in via email&password and via Facebook but still nothing!

Als erstes wird man aufgefordert, sich zu registrieren, per Mail, Facebook oder Google. „Register Account“ steht auch noch da. Nur mit Internetverbindung zu nutzen; denn die Daten werden in der Cloud gespeichert.
Schade, gelöscht. Um meine gegebenen und erhaltenen Gaben zu managen, wird sich etwas passenderes finden.

Great App for presents
This is a great app for keeping a list of all the gifts you not only need to buy but to track the ones you receive. Also has some ideas that I wouldn’t normally think of too.
useful and convenient app
GiftLog is a super helpful app that allows me to keep all of my sent and received gifts in one place. I’ve had no problems with the app’s functions and it will definitely be useful this holiday season!
Amazing and Helpful
This is a wonderful way to keep organized, track presents received / thank you notes, and be able to remember what I have given to others in the past! Its super easy to use, I've never had any issues with crashing or anything, and even my kids help enter holiday gifts and birthday presents. Highly recommended as a way to stay organized, especially for our large family!

Comprehensive gift tracker which saves to the cloud so no risk of losing your records. Excellent customer service if you ever have any questions.
Perfect for keeping track of gifts!
This app is perfect for keeping track of birthdays to buy for, but unlike the other gift apps you can also log what others have brought for you! Great reminder so that I don’t underspend if someone buys me a really nice gift. Also has a great section listing gift retailers for when I’m stuck for gift ideas. And on top of all that there are NO ADS!

Extremely useful, easy to use
This is a really useful app. It’s great that I can take photos of my gifts and send a quick thank you too.id recommend it to everyone. is exactly the kind of app I needed. I used to note all my gifts in a spreadsheet but this makes it so much quicker and easier. Love the fact that I can add photos and send thank you message from within the app. Highly recommend it.

Gift Log App Useless = Won’t Launch
I was really excited about this App, but HUGELY disappointed in the execution because it just WON’T LAUNCH, giving an error message that is impossible to decipher.
Sent an e-mail to the developer, but no response and still no fix.
Tried deleting App and reinstalling, but still same stupid error message.

Contact import doesn’t import birthdays
I imported contacts only to find out birthdays don’t import. I have a gift app that’s over 10 years old that had that basic capability.
