Giganome

Giganome is a group haptic metronome for Apple Watch and iPhone that keeps your whole band on a decisive beat. THE METRONOME Feel it, hear it, see it. You can feel where the bar leans without looking by setting subdivisions to your haptic time signature. Both apps are complete on their own. Neither needs the other. Set the tempo with the slider on your phone or the Digital Crown on your wrist, or tap the number and type it exactly. 30 to 240 BPM, eleven time signatures including 5/4, 7/8, 9/8 and 12/8, and subdivisions up to four per beat. THE WHOLE BAND, ONE TEMPO One person starts a session and reads out six digits. Everyone else types them in. That is the whole setup. From then on anyone can change the tempo, call the next song, or start and stop. No more shouting over music to slow down or speed up. It works in a room with no signal. There is no account to make and nothing to log in to. YOUR PHONE AND YOUR WATCH, TOGETHER Your watch and phone stay in sync just like your bandmate's watch and phone. Start a session on either one, and also change rhythm on the other. YOUR SETLIST ALREADY KNOWS THE TEMPO Save each tune with the title, artist, tempo, meter, and division it needs. Tap it and the metronome is set — in a session, for everyone at once. Line up the next song while the last one is still ringing. Gather songs into sets: named running orders you drag into playing order. Smart save the song by speaking the rhythmic settings instead of typing it. Giganome asks for the title, artist, tempo, meter, and division one at a time and reads it back before saving. Everything is recognised and saved on your phone. SHARE WITH THE BAND Send a song or an entire setlist to a bandmate by AirDrop or Messages. They see what is arriving and decide what to keep before anything is saved. NO ACCOUNT. NO ADS.
