Easy peasy
Nice to have a physical backup option for my photos!.. I don’t know why Apple doesn’t have this option in its OS.
Corrupt files
After I did my back up it did not save the photos correctly. It’s just line codes that I don’t know how to recover them. When I try to use the app it does not recognize the files. Any else had this happen and can help with this?

Horrible honestly
My dad got me thing that goes with the app for Christmas (I’m using his Apple account-) and I used it once and it doesn’t want to register the thing that you plug into your phone anymore. I’ve tried formatting the little micro chip (I think that’s what it’s called-) and it still doesn’t work- i tried wiping off the pard that out plug into your phone and that also didn’t work. So like yeah- 🥶

Unable to unlock usb after locking it thru app
Please this company has to fix this app i am unable to unlock my usb flash drive after setting up a passcode thru the app and locking the devices usb connection. Now whenever i plug it in the app shows authenticating after that nothing, still can’t access the drive!!!! Please gigastone help!?!?!
Seems to work well
Have used on 3 different devices now, friend’s iPhone 8, my iPhone 11 and our iPad air (2019 model) , allows me to view files. unfortunately iPhone’s process for moving photos over is tedious, no select all button (this was on a he 8, haven’t tested with 11 yet) .
Videos Will Not Transfer over time iPhone
I purchased this after my Lexar reader stopped working. It will not transfer any of the videos to my iPhone. It runs through the entire preparing process but the videos never show in my camera roll.
An Update is NEEDED.
This app is sucking bad right now. The most important thing is u cannot rename files. Its also not user friendly to navigate. And to preview content is horrible. Time to focus on an update fellas

Am able to use copy and paste from clipboard but the file names change and am not able to change it within app.

Stops Working After A Few Times
I bought three of the USBs to backup my iPhone and transfer files. All three stopped being recognized by the Gigastone App after just a couple of times. I’ll never buy again. Complete waste of money.
Some good features
Here are the improvements that are needed.
1. The music player needs to be able to display imbedded album covers in flac files.
2: the music files should be displayed in track order, not the order in which they were saved on the memory card.
3. Shoul be able to access the card without having to use the gigastone file manager. The Sandusky USB drive allows this feature.

It formatted my previous back up without my permission!!!
Beware!
This software will FORMAT your memory card before you can use it, even if you have data on it, without ANY WARNING or permission! Lost all my data that was on memory card!!! Ridiculous. This software should help us and delete our stuff! Avoid!
