Some poor coding interferes

I have had a paid subscription and used this app several dozen times. I know it well by now and know it’s issues.

Nice concept but they aren’t fixing bugs. Still has problem printing from an iPhone or iPad. You get some gibberish mixed in.

Also, DO NOT USE THE “COPY GIG” option. It will only print the original gig that you copied your new one from and then reverts back to the song list from the original gig. Maddening and will colossally waste your time. It’s very limiting to not be able to use the “copy gig” function b/c of this bug. You have to start setlist construction from scratch every time. For me, this is an inexcusable failure in the coding. Sorry to be harsh to the developers, but you have to own the problems in your app.

Response from developer

Thank you for the detailed feedback. We understand how frustrating these issues can be, especially when preparing for a live performance. We’re sorry to hear that the printing and “Copy Gig” problems have caused you to lose time. We’re actively working on improving GigNotes and will investigate both issues carefully. Regarding “Copy Gig”, we’d really appreciate it if you could send us a little more information at support@gignotes.app. Please describe the steps you take, what you change in the copied Gig, and at what point the original song list reappears. If possible, screenshots or a short screen recording would also be very helpful. This will allow our development team to better understand and reproduce the issue. Thank you for taking the time to report these problems and help us improve GigNotes.

Its Great

Love it

Wow

I was using a different program - stumbled on Gig Notes and find my new musical home. You have to try it out.

Horrible Lag

After uploading many PDFs to the app. I tried to switch from page to page and there is at least a 3 to 4 second before the second page in each song loads. Takes a very long time to even upload this song into the app. Also nowhere to share between different devices. If I'm playing a gig, I can't wait for 3 to 4 seconds between pages! Would not recommend this app! Also, my page Turner pedal, is not compatible.
