Really enjoy this app - feedback on the recent update
I downloaded your app a few weeks ago and I really loved it, especially because the filters genuinely felt close to the effect of older cameras/devices. However, since the recent update, editing photos from the gallery no longer feels the same as before.
For example, I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and previously, when I used the “iPod” filter, it mimicked the old device’s look perfectly. The grain, the texture, everything. Since the update, it’s less satisfying: the grain is much less visible, and the image stays in high resolution, so it basically just looks like my original photo with a filter on top, rather than truly looking like it was taken on an old device. This works fine when I take a photo directly with the in-app camera, but not when I edit a photo from my gallery.
It would be great if you could add a low resolution / high resolution option for gallery editing as well, just like there already is for the camera. That way, we could choose to keep that authentic low-res, grainy look that made this app special in the first place.

We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the original old-device look of GIKA, especially the grain, texture, and low-resolution feeling. We understand what you mean about gallery editing feeling too clean after the recent update. While we improved image quality in the update, we also realize that some users loved the more authentic low-res, grainy look that made the app feel closer to older cameras and devices. Your suggestion to add a low resolution / high resolution option for gallery editing is very helpful, and we’re currently reviewing this for a future update. We’ll keep improving the gallery editing experience so it doesn’t just feel like a filter on top of a high-resolution photo, but keeps the unique old-device atmosphere GIKA is known for. back이 잘 안 눌려요...
그런데 사진을 찍고 앱 내 찍은 앨범에 들어가면 back이나 휴지통이 안 눌리고 렉이 먹어서 강제 종료 후 다시 접속해야하는 불편함이 조금 있네요오..
그리고 확대가 1x를 누르면 되는게 아니고 줌인 형식으로 해야하는게 조금 불편해요! 너무 마음에 드는 어플이라 아쉬운 점을 조심스레 남겨봅니다 ㅎ
