New exercises and content App changes: Turn your iPhone sideways - Gipfel now works in landscape. The tabs become a slim column on the side of your hand, and every screen keeps its full height. - A German keyboard sits beside the text instead of covering it: QWERTZ with umlauts, fast two-thumb typing, a space bar that moves the cursor, and a gentle tap you can feel. - Hold a key for accents and punctuation. - Choose your hand in Settings: tabs and keyboard move to that side. Reading and practice - Practise a text again straight from the library, without reading it first. - New sentences every round for "Put sentences in order" and "A sentence from memory". - Sentence order rebuilt: bigger pieces, tap or drag them exactly where you want, and green and red marks after a check. - A sentence from memory: see it once more and continue from what you wrote, for half points. - The close button inside a practice step takes you back to the steps. - A little more time on the reading clock. Your words - Two new exercises on the sentences your looked-up words came from: put them back in order, or write them from memory. You decide - Choosing is never switched off. Gipfel tells you when writing would count more, and one tap lets you write instead. - Switching between Choose and Type clears unchecked answers, so a choice never counts as written. Liquid Glass - On iOS 26, buttons, answer options, the tab column and the keyboard are tinted Liquid Glass, and the item card slides up as a glass sheet. Clearer - "How Gipfel works" now explains every exercise. - In landscape, buttons float at the side of your hand, so more of the text fits on screen. Fixes - Two quick taps could open the dictionary twice and freeze the app. - The weekly rest day now really keeps your streak. - Marks earned by a session's last answer are no longer lost. - Looking up a word from your Notebook no longer resets its training. - A timed text without questions no longer gets stuck. - Listen and write: retrying no longer counts a word you were shown as right. - Reviews in Choose mode no longer come up empty. - Many smaller fixes
