Excellent quick strategy game
Although the design is nothing fancy, this game is really good. The strategy is accessible but challenging, and it only takes five minutes to play a game. Perfect when I’m on a break or don’t have a long time to play. Very fair price too. Thank you developer!
Quick and thinky
Gipsy Kings is a fine implementation of the boardgame. It's fun, it's got a decent amount of strategy, it plays quickly, and the AI's pretty good. Great for when you've got five minutes to kill, or ten, or fifteen, or. . .
Good and very, very quick
There are very few board games that are both strategic and can be played out in a matter of minutes, but Gipsy King fits the bill. While it is graphically a bit sparse, the gameplay is more than adequate. It is a very good value for only one dollar.
One small bug exists in the game, though. The second half of the game is supposed to allow a double placement to take place twice, but the current version does not enforce this and allows more than two doubles. I hope this is addressed in a future update.
