They no longer send you the verification code so that you can create an account meaning the app doesn’t work anymore or whoever is in charge of it is no longer updating it.
I have checked spam. I have checked trash and I have checked my email. I have clicked resend several times and it has said that it has reset the code and nothing has come through at all.

Love Girltelligence! It’s a safe and welcoming community that allows teens to seek help, advice, and honestly anything without being judged. The responses girls get are thoughtful and helpful. I love that I can help and be helped when needed.

Safety
Overall, I would give this app a three out of five. There are two major factors for my rating; usability and social responsibility. The app helps young women that are entering or currently in their adolescence, 11 to 21 years of age (the youngest allowed to join is 9 years based on the app store) to have a safe space where they can chat with other girls their age or ask for advice from older women. This app overall is easy to use, is very interactive, and has a variety of topics from love and romance, girls in steam, social justice, to politics and policy. I would have used an app similar to this one when I was in high school. With all being said, there is a major concern that comes to my mind as a woman, how do I know I am actually to the person they actually say they are? This app does not verify that you are either identify as female or the age you say you are. Individuals are able to share their personal social media accounts and you can privately message others. I can see this app potentially being used as a form for older adults to lure and groom young women. I believe it is not suitable for the age range they are marketing it towards. As someone who navigated the internet as an adolescent without parental control, I can see how this app can be a safe space for young women but I can also see the danger in it.
