Sign in with a ChatGPT Plus or Pro account to power AI text completion, commit message suggestions and the Repository Agent, without a separate OpenAI API key. OpenAI changed how ChatGPT subscriptions reach its models, and Working Copy now connects the way OpenAI's own Codex tools do, so signing in with ChatGPT works again. Tap the key icon next to the API Key field to sign in, and a suitable model is chosen for you that you can change at any time. Fetch, Pull, Push and Commit are available as App Shortcuts. Say "Pull in Working Copy" to Siri, or run them from Spotlight and the Shortcuts app without any setup. They act on the repository shown on screen, or the one you last had open, and ask which repository when none is open. The Commit action asks what the commit message should be when none is given. Fixed a crash in the Repository Agent that could occur after sending a message while text in the input field was still selected. Includes enhancements from latest versions: Annotate PDF files right from Working Copy. Draw freehand with Apple Pencil or your finger, or select text and choose Annotate from the menu to highlight, strike through, underline or add a note. Notes appear as numbered markers you tap to read, edit or delete. Annotations are saved into the PDF in the standard format, so they stay visible in Preview, Acrobat and other apps. This is a pro feature available to anyone who purchased or upgraded their pro unlock within the last year. Ask Repository Agent to browse files, search content, read and modify files, commit, pull and push. It works with external LLM services including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Ollama using your own API keys. Configure in AI Settings where AI features are opt-in per repository to avoid leaking sensitive information. Repositories have icons auto-detected from project images and remote avatars. Tap the icon on the Status & Configuration screen to customize with another file from the repository, clipboard contents, photos library, or image files.

User reviews

Super Helpful!

I run my own Gitea server and this apps is the PERFECT companion for making quick edits or code reviews!

Fantastic Tool

The app is thick with features which is a bit daunting, but the shortcut hooks make it sweet and easy. One of the best apps for how it integrates with iOS and makes itself more useful. Using Working Copy along with Obsidian and my own repo.

Nice

Wow - this is amazing

I’ve been using Git since 2007, a couple of years after Linus made it available for the Linux kernel. I certainly wish I’d had Working Copy back then, it is fantastic. THANK YOU
