Mostly everything I wanted

I love GitHub and it’s disappointing that there isn’t a native app. This feels just how a native github app would be and should be. The only thing it needs is a dark mode lol. Otherwise 5/5. Will change rating when there is a Dark Mode.

Cant find my github acct on app

This app looks alright, and github is a great platform to cooperatively work on coding projects, but not being able to see my own account no matter how hard I try seems to be a big oversight by the developer. The user experience is paramount to a product. Im sorry but this is a 0 star product because of this error.

GitHub Enterprise Support?

GitHawk looks very powerful. My primary issue is I cannot figure out how to connect with a GitHub Enterprise account.

Doesn’t Read like GitHub

I just got the app and I must say the most glaring thing is that it can’t read MD files like github... really like the only reason I downloaded the app in the first place. Didn’t really care about reading the code.

With that said, I still must say formatting for code is pretty ugly when reading code but I guess I’m just nitpicky. There could also be better comment line wrapping.

Colors for text could be better. I guess that would be more something for like theme support as everyone’s taste in colors would be different. Personally, I really like dark themes cause they’re easier on the eyes.

Doesn’t track my repositories, I have to search them up and book mark them but like seriously threw me for a loop since I connected my account... like what was the point of connecting my account if you aren’t going to connect my repos?

It’s okayish for what it is but just doesn’t have what I’m looking for. Could probably open up github on a browser and it’d be better than this (but I haven’t tried yet). I guess maybe it’s more slightly convenient to load up the app but that’s it...

So far pretty good

One feature that is either missing or impossible to find is how to post comments in a code view, as opposed to just on an PR. I’d probably be here giving it a 4-star review if not for that.

Lacks simple features

Would have been great if I could export code to other apps. Also, there is no option to disable word wrap. Sometimes code can be hard to follow when code from one line is pushed on to multiple lines. C’mon.

Really helpful!

GitHawk is a really helpful app! It doesn’t yet support everything you can do on the website (although it does support things you can’t normally do on mobile), but you can always hit the share button then tap “Open in Safari” (or your favorite browser) to open the website.

Helps me track my PRs

With the help of this app, I am able to respond to issues and PRs that I bookmark. Very good application.

Could be great

I downloaded this app to keep tabs on the issues, but the search functionality doesn’t work beyond basic “is:open” type searches. I was trying to view in progress issues, and I even added a new label to search but both of my searches, “label:inProgress” and “milestone:Day1”, only worked on web UI and not this app. Disappointing, hopefully there’s an update to fix the search 🤞🏼

Does this app support watched projects—

or is it limited to projects you’re apart of? I got an email notification from a watched project, but the app still shows nothing days later.

GHE Support ?

Seems like a fantastic app. Any plan to support GHE?
