GizmoEdge Mobile worker is an application that lets you distribute SQL analytic workloads from the cloud to your mobile device. With this app, your phone or tablet can join a distributed SQL engine as a worker. This will allow your device to process SQL queries on behalf of your GizmoEdge cluster. Once you login, your device will request a "shard" of data from the server. It will then download the shard, and unzip it to your device's local storage. Once it verifies that the shard matches what the server specified, it will confirm the shard with the server, and let it know that it is ready to process queries. Then, you can connect to your GizmoEdge server via a SQL client - and issue SQL queries. The server will distribute the SQL query workload to all Mobile, Desktop, and Cloud workers available - including your device!
