Not staying connected
Every time that I connect to the app kicks me out, but doesn’t allow me to do anything,

It was easy to set up and works very well with a nice clear picture. Connects to the app ok and records everything ok. It would be useful if the app was compatible with apple car play so you can see the camera view on your infotainment screen, but definitely still worth 5* as it is!

All the options and settings disappeared that was there previously and the video has stop recording when full.

Kamera über W-Lan verbunden, wird als verbunden angezeigt, stürzt ab. Kamera 5x neu verbunden, Smartphone und Kamera neugestartet und verbunden. SD formatiert. Nichts funktioniert

App need to always connected to the Wi-Fi then you can only access the app otherwise its not work you can’t see recording untill the wifi is on. You need to on car to use the app.
Sprache
Die Sprache der cam ändert sich nicht wenn ich sie auf deutsch einstelle sie bleibt immer auf Englisch.

I have 5G 4 bars network, takes 5 minutes to load, and then says network issues try again later. App is terrible
What’s the point?
I have had this camera for a few months and this app is not doing what it should. It’s not overwriting the oldest files & I had to clear it out. Now it seems like it’s not storing my files or at least the screen just says “loading” and no files ever appear. What’s the point in having this camera/app if you can’t even access the files in the event you need them? I think I’ll be looking into getting a different camera.

Camera is fantastic
Easy to install great product and a really great picture.
Not usable in CarPlay
The app is working fine but it would be nice to combine the app with Apple CarPlay so that the rear camera will be visible on the car display
Time stamp issue
Time stamp is on and still video recorded shows wrong time and dates.

Updated and now can’t connect to my dash cam.
You should know
The app works fine. Unfortunately it is a challenge if you are using CarPlay. iPhones can only connect to one network at a time. If connected to your vehicle and CarPlay, the phone will kick GKU off. In order to use the app, you cannot be using CarPlay. I expect this is true of all dashcam apps. Something you should know before you buy.
