Worthless

I bought this to try to avoid getting caught in a well-known speed trap on my commute to work. It never alerted me when I was within the preset radius. I tried it with the volume on and the volume off. I checked my notification settings and it was set correctly. I emailed tech-support and never heard back.

Simple and intuitive

Never sleep through your bus stop, or zone out past your subway station. Don’t forget to stop at the store on the way home. So many uses! Thanks for a great app!

Nice, but pay wall is crazy

Great app, but not at all a fan of apps that stop working after a number of uses

No Repeat

Does not allow me to repeat my alarm and I have to set it every time!

Vibration

The vibration of the alarm in silent mode needs to be a lot stronger. It’s an easy fix.

Wake me up!

Thank you. I really needed this app!!!

Wake me up!

Thank you. My next stop is miles away!!!

App Store Listing Alert for Adam Wienconek!

I can't write a review yet because I just downloaded the app and haven’t tested it yet. My temporary four star rating is based on it being just what I was looking for to use on train trips. So this Non-Review is here to just let the developer know that after seeing the app recommended on iReviews on YouTube, I came here to find it by searching for “Glarm” and it didn’t show up. Only when I searched for “G larm” did it appear. I suggest the dev check with the App Store to ensure his app is correctly listed in their data base.

Flawed

Fantastic app but the alarms I set up continue to go off forever, and disappear from the app leaving me no way to stop them

Great concept

Hi, I really liked the app. Is it possible to for the alarm to activate automatically based on day and time of the day?

Doesn’t ring

I will get within the proximity of the train station and not even a silent notification will pop up. I have notifications set for immediate.

Great, and could be even better

Wonderful app that seems to be as reliable as can be.

The critical functionality that this app lacks is the ability to schedule a repeating alarm.

I believe this could be accomplished by adding Shortcuts support. This way, users can make a shortcuts automation to schedule an alarm.

I wonder if the developer can add this in for us?

Thanks for making the app!

Response from developer

Thanks for your review! I’m already working on new update that will include the option to set repeating alarm without using Siri shortcuts, although those could definitely enhance the app a lot!

Brilliant.

Simple. Intuitive. Easy to set up alarms. Sure other ways to do it, but this app simplifies. Great job.

Neat idea, just needs more tuning

Great idea as many have said. But really needs fine control. I want to be able quickly and easily set an alarm when I go into a building, a house, a business, a store. Even the smallest area I can set requires multiple zoom in steps and an inaccurate slider that still sets something too large.

Let me drop a pin and set a default 25’ around the pin and leave it at that. Quick. Easy.

Add categories for alarms, along with default settings for distance and sound.

Good app thought, can only get better.

PS. I’ve been using since first version and features aren’t unlocked. No big deal, I’ll be buying it when it gets better.

Response from developer

Thanks for the suggestions! I admit that in current state the app is better suited for longer distances but I’ll see how I can provide better control over setting desired distance Categories sound like definitely useful addition

Nice start!

Neat app. Really like the idea, and am excited to see what new uses for it I come up with (beyond the ones I already have in mind).

Some suggestions for future releases: please add the ability to choose

- custom text that appears in the notification when the location perimeter is reached
- any sound from the user’s ringtones as the alarm
- whether the alarm should go off either as the location is reached or when it is departed from (or both)
- whether the alarm should be a one-time alarm or ring every time the location perimeter is crossed

Also, it would be nice to have a visual indication of the size of the perimeter when choosing the perimeter radius.
