Good app with strange message
Why is the app asking me to log in online before using it. What is the point of the app if I also have to log in once??
I wonder if it is a scam by hackers to get my personal detail?. Or
Is it a bug? A scam? Philshing? Or some bug?

Just works.
Great for checking what’s in stock, reserving books, transferring between locations for pick-up, and seeing up to date library opening times. A lot of the negative reviews here are very old and for the old app. The new app is great! Well done Glasgow Life!
If it worked would be so useful
Used to kind of work but kept logging out from app and now no longer allows me to login or add other accounts for family.
Slow buggy and no longer useable.

TBR/Like Sound of That List
App is functional enough although in past year it has seemed slower at login stage. Glasgow libraries have a large catalogue and it would be useful to have a To Be Read or Like Sound of That list that user could save titles / authors to to remind them about books to physically look for when in the library!

Awful!
Worked occasionally for a while. Now won’t accept any sign in information. Librarian agree that it’s awful but nothing happens.

Won’t recognise my login details but the same details work on Libby so unsure what’s wrong.

One of th most usful functions is the “Place Hold” function. Having said that, Leeds Libraries app allows for the option to “Paus Reservation” and can view the waiting list queue for books.

App was working ok until recently. Now unable to reserve books - get error message about invalid file format.
Also does not always load list of books I have on loan. Cannot view updates on the reservations I was able to make before it stopped working either.
Search function also faulty, does not list books I KNOW are in the library collection.
Soooo frustrating as have to list books of interest then go all way into town to library to reserve - which would take 30 seconds on app.
Basically all that works is ability to renew books on loan. That’s it.

Library ID Missing
The latest update does not show the library ID. It needs to be fixed urgently.
Excellent ..... at first
Loved this app until about a year ago. I used to love the reserve function. When you heard someone talking about a book you could request it to your library. Even if a waiting list you would get an email sometimes months later telling you it was available. Brilliant. Now it won’t let me do this. Tried removing and reinstalling (as suggested by the library) but didn’t work. Please please please fix.

I’ve downloaded the app and when I open it up it stays on the home page. Won’t let me go on anything and freezes. Such a let down and disappointment
Why have this app?
I’m assuming this app has been abandoned. I see poor reviews going back a while. I have a book on loan currently and I get emails asking me to renew, which I do easily via the website. But the app says I have nothing on loan!! It does have one use - I don’t need to remember my library card as it is on the app.......but doesn’t scan so librarians have to tap in the number. So pretty useless app really. Sorry, but it’s true.

There’s no easier way to say it than this app just doesn’t work...
I tried to register and once through the clumsy line of questioning nothing happens.

Great when it works. However in typical Glasgow Life / Council style it's more often than not broken :(
Unable to renew or reserve...
Had no issues when I first downloaded the app, could easily renew books and search the catalogue. Since the latest update however, i'm unable to reserve or renew books with the app stating "item cannot be renewed - you are not allowed to borrow this item". When I phoned my local library they said I wasn't alone and others were getting the same error but he was able to renew my books for me. Even after logging out and back in, no difference. Please sort it out, having to phone or go in in person to renew is a nuisance!

Glitch!
When I click from my account back onto the main part with all the different sections the screen just goes blank! So silly!
Wrecked!
This app is no use now. Text is dark blue on black, menu block is on top of other text. Can't reserve books or search catalogue. Used to be great. Please fix.
