Doesnโt replace Tilt shift lens
It does a couple of tricks but it is not a true tilt / shift replacement .

Thanks for checking out my app! Is there anything specific you would recommend to make it better? My inspiration for this app is the Petzval lens with its notable curved bokeh.

I lost my favorite tilt shift app to a developer who didnโt want to keep updating it. So, I found this one and it is good. The only reason I didnโt give it 5 stars is because you cannot change the parameters of the effect. You only get a straight line of focus on the photo that you can adjust as far as width goes. It would be nice if you would allow for other area shapes like ovals and circles. I find that to be very helpful in producing this desired effect. The other app was a bit better for this effect, but this one is the best since that app.

Best Tilt Shift App
No idea why anyone is negging this. First rate app at fair price. Easy game.
Works, but missing import
Quite disappointed that I can't choose this app from the share sheet in e.g. Photos app.
There are other sources of photos than the default import view.
Also, there's no way to preview a photo full screen with zoom without saving it?

Great... once you get to know it.
The good: Really quite excellent photographic tilt shift or blur vignette effects. Pops highlights well, and the bokeh are very nicely detailed. Chromatic abberation, option to add grain. Really good stuff. Quite often even desktop applications don't all of this well.
The bad: The controls/UI are not terribly intuitive. You won't really know you can move the focal point until you try it. The glow (really should be a secondary effect) is controlled by the slider, which is all you try initially. The different modes along the bottom are not indicated in any helpful way. You really have to play around with this for a bit to get a handle on what it can do.
But if you put in a little time, it really is powerful, offering quite good quality. Very organic looking.

not impressed
have other brain fever apps that i like. can't say the same for this one. too finicky and the effects are not natural. wish i saved my money.

App seems too processor intensive for the iPhone 5. Just keeps crashing.
Great except for file compression
I think the app is great, but I notice that the app compresses my photos when I save them. I know this is to save space, but it also results in a loss of image quality. I'd like to see an option to turn compression on or off, or remove it altogether.

Thank you for the review! Glass (and all of my apps) can save without compression. Tap the top share icon, then tap More instead of Save. From here you can tap Save (to png) which does not effect image quality.
Wow great app, great results
Just downloaded this app and love what I can create. Tilt shift effects look very creative. Well with the few bucks paid for this app. I have been a professional photographer for over 20 years and love what I can do to my iPhone photos.
Who needs Lensbaby?
This app is so very fine and gives me all those special and unique looks without spending hundreds of dollars on a Lensbaby!!! Five stars!!!!!

Great for playing around with DoF, and based on other apps I have that are similar, this app is definitely unique. I don't think the low star reviews are fair at all - it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It's definitely useful to me, but may not be everyone's cup of tea, especially if you're not a serious photographer and don't understand what this app is for.

Lagy and crashes on ipad
Basically unusable. Crashed 3 times out of three attempts. I want a refund asap!

Five Star App All The Way
Firstly, I need to say that you MUST understand the interface to get the most out of this app. But if you play with the one and two-finger moves and you watch closely what happens with the mask you will soon grasp the power of this tool. Each preset mask behaves differently, and everything resets if you pick a different preset. This makes it difficult to quickly jump between presets, but it also means that each preset is a unique tool for your experimentation.
If you like filters that do everything for you, look elsewhere. If you are serious about iPhone photography this app gives you amazing tools you can't get anywhere else. Easily a five star app in my photo editing toolbox.

Not sure why the negative reviews
Honestly, I'm not sure why there's negative reviews. I took a chance and bought it and it works great from what I see (I've been playing with it for about an hour). To access your photos, touch the circle in the lower center. I've always loved tilt-shift lens work. Thank you for making this app and for putting in a bunch of different presets.
