Bug Fixes

User reviews

Good, but I’m stuck on level two

You see here that my lines keep on glitching and it keeps on saying arrange the pocky like this and I am doing it

Captures other lines too

It kept capturing other lines too and glitches a lot.

👍

Using Pocky is very fun! I like this game that uses pocky to play!

I don’t like it

Every time I scan the pocky it scan the other lines and doesn’t scan the pocky and why do you have to use pocky

WTH

Why does the Pocky not work I faced right but it kept saying left and for your information I had to use nerf gun bullets to get it working please upgrade your sensors coz pocky don’t work but nerf bullets do. So are we supporting nerf? Or pocky?

FAQ

What is GLICODE?

GLICODE is a free educational app that teaches children the basics of coding by using Pocky snacks. Users arrange Pocky sticks on a placemat, and the app uses augmented reality to interpret the arrangement as code, guiding a mascot through various challenges.

What coding concepts can I learn with GLICODE?

The app teaches three fundamental coding concepts: SEQUENCES, LOOPS, and 'IF' STATEMENTS. By arranging Pocky in different orders and patterns, users learn how these concepts translate into algorithmic thinking and problem-solving.

What do I need to use GLICODE?

To use GLICODE, you will need the GLICODE app itself, a packet of Chocolate Pocky snacks, and a plain white placemat or surface. The Pocky sticks are used as physical input for the coding challenges.

How does GLICODE work?

First, you line up your Pocky snacks on a white placemat. Then, you use your phone's camera to capture a picture of the snack sequence. The app interprets this sequence as code, and you can then test it to see the mascot navigate the course.

Is GLICODE suitable for school?

Yes, GLICODE has been adopted by school lesson programs in Japan, specifically for popularizing programming education for young segments. Elementary school teachers use it as a classroom tool to teach early elementary school kids the basics of programming.
