I had never even heard of Glimmer until a few weeks ago and I am obsessed! I like how many free points they give you. It takes a while to go through them as well, which I appreciate. It lets me keep the story going longer.

Great, but censorship really sucks.
I like this app. It stuck with me after finding a work I enjoyed. However, there’s a problem with the recent versions where the censorship is off the charts. I can’t input my character’s backstory without the app rejecting it all because it revolves around my character being mistreated while growing up. Nothing graphic graphic descriptions, but still rejected. It’s discouraging now that the experience just doesn’t hit as well as it used to. You can tell the writing style the app has changed..and not for the better. I used to recommend this app to my friends, but I can no longer do the same when the app is this disappointing to use. I really wish it were the same as things were in 2025 and early 2026, but the app just isn’t as good anymore ever since mid 2026.

I love this app so much it physically hurts. The way I used to yearn for a fanfic where I could choose and then finding this? Oh my gosh, chefs kiss. I love whoever came up with this masterpiece.

I really like glimmer. I think the concept is amazing and it’s fun to be able to interact with stories. Occasionally there’s bugs and there’s not many ways to get more turns, but I understand.
