i must admit i am a bit of a music making/production app junky .. i scour the store at times but never came across this one until now. i don’t fully understand Apples algorithms in searching for apps, some show up all the time while others appear to remain ‘hidden’. so anyway Glitch1 popped oot of the blue and for .99c i figured i’d give it a try. It’s a lot of fun and i’m happy to have found it ✌️

Adding songs doesn’t work.
I try to use the option to use my music and every time I select a song, the app crashes. Should fix this to make it work.

Cool app, needs an update....put it in Audiobus currently and it crashes.

I love the app but can you fix it to the point you can youse it with out headphones? I really want to use it to scare my friends but you need headphones.

Nice and fun. I like the tape stop effect.
It would be nice if the recordings have an auto-start/sync/loop option to 4 beats, 8 beats, 16 beats -- like on ikaossilator -- so less time is spent editing the beat after.

Wow!! Works like a charm!
Been combing the AppStore for an audio glitching app and by far this has been the best and easiest to play with. Though it takes a bit time getting into it. Being able to connect it with Audiobus was a BLAST!! I can now make glitchy bets and rhythms with such ease. Recommend this app for all audio junkies. It's a must have.

Great little glitcher
My favourite glitch device, simple yet effective, great fun when placed within an Audiobus chain. Couple of possible future additions which would be useful : the option of muting & a mix level for each of the fx to balance out the end result.

A Re-review
Previously I reviewed that AudioBus wasn't working. After restoring my phone to fix a bug introduced by an iOS update, I noticed that it's working just fine now!
Now we just need a universal update! Also note that for as minimal as this looks, documentation could be improved. It is a little hard to understand at first.

Almost there...
I use it all the time. It's a fast, effective, minimalistic tool that does what it does really well. But... I still have to audio copy to use it. It mutes all audio, won't play (even the tempo light goes out) and changes to what looks like forced iPhone 5 resolution when plugged into the effects slot in Audiobus. I'll give it 5 stars, but this needs a few stitches first.
But I still recommend it. Holds sound quality like a champ and it's useful for audio copying or mic recording straight through itself without Audiobus. Also really fun to slaughter songs in your phone's music library with it. Buy it for the fun if you enjoy playing with sound at all, keep it for the AB patches down the road if you're a mobile musician.

And waiting on a Glitch1 update to finish my favorite song. ;)

Originally I gave Glitch1 4* because I realized I really do use it a lot when compared to library of apps I own.
A vast majority of the iOS beats I make go into Glitch1 because it's quick by having all the necessary save/import/export features. It provides a fast transition from app to app for fun and creativity.
Audiobus support gives Glitch1 a 5th*.
Glitch1 is minimalism at it's finest and also great at what it does.
The review which said Glitch1 was bugged. I had the same issue. Watch the tutorial. You must start Glitch1 last; after input and output are routed. Then match the BPM and press play.
