They will renege!
I’ve had the full license to this app for years, and I open it to find that most of the features I PAID FOR have been removed. They also don’t answer the support email, I contacted them May 12th, 2026, and they still haven’t replied.

This photo/video editing app is the most versatile, slick, weird, awesome thing you can get on a smartphone.
Upset
I purchased this app all the way back in 2015. I used this app for years & recently redownloaded it to get back into photo editing & everything I used to use is locked down through paywalls. As someone who was an early supporter over 11 years ago & purchased the app, I feel I deserve better.
Not restoring purchase
I’ve had this app so long that I actually paid for full access many years ago before subscriptions were ever a thing, even used this app on my iPad a year or so ago, and finally able to add to my phone and it’s not letting me restore my initial purchase and get access back to my most used effects. I’ve had many edits over the years I’m not sure why it’s not working especially since I paid for it so long ago and had previous access.

I regret updating
Locking filters that were once free into the paid tier is SCUMMY. I used to use this app all the time for years but I’m nope thinking about deleting it once and for all.
Don’t purchase
Bought into it back in August of 2015; it’s 2026 and they dont honor purchases I’ve previously made. O dont expect new additions to be made free but I expect the functionality i paid for to still be accessible.
Must have for creatives
i’ve been using this app since 2014 and it’s honestly been a game changer for the art that I make what takes so much resource and skill is so easily done in this app and it really allows you to explore some different techniques and styles which have really elevated some of my work I highly recommend checking it out and trying out all of that offers

So i download this app for the first time in years, and i CANT DATAMOSH WITHOUT A SUBSCRIPTION? WHATS THE POINT OF THE APP IF I CANT USE THE DATAMOSHING???

Was looking forward to utilizing the update, noticed some touch to select UI issues when selecting source photos on not being able to access photo album folders for iPhone. Fix soon?

TURN AUTO UPDATES OFF. Each new update removes more free features.

I love this app; the GUI needs improvement
When adding overlay images there should be a snap grid feature so you aren’t hand aligning photos via touch screen, there also appears to be a glitch where if you use the rotate button it locks the photo into vertical alignment.
Memory leak?
Seems like there is currently a memory leak affecting the dither effect. When rendering a video with certain dither settings the progress bar freezes, the app crashes, then my iPhone restarts automatically. I have tried repeatedly and the result is the same. It seems to be related to the scale being on the second smallest setting and/or the tones being to option 2 or 3 (closer to the bottom of the slider)

I've seen this app go through many changes. Some good, some interesting to say the least. I got this app probably back in 2016 when every feature was free. It's sad to see that the developers have started to limit
No more and more features overtime to substation based/paid features like most things in life. I've used this app to make art for years and will always have a soft spot for this app, but I don't want to pay a 45$ lifetime fee when I've been using it for 10+ years and am used to having access to all the features I love. Especially when some of the features are confusing and consistency in general are lacking. With all that being said I do love this app and there are plenty upsides to exploring it.
