What's New in Global Forester

11.0

June 16, 2026

An update where the changes beneath the surface are bigger than what meets the eye. We have simplified parts of the underlying structure in Global Forester to build an efficient foundation for new features. Despite — or perhaps thanks to — the simplification, this release still brings a few new features for all users to enjoy. * Attach photos to all observation types (points, lines, and areas). * Updating your plan? You can now attach photos to plan objects such as charcoal kiln sites, house foundations, botanical objects, and ruins. Photos make field documentation faster, clearer, and less prone to misunderstandings. We've also removed GPX export for track logs and point observations, as it saw very little use.
