Global Health Supply Chain Summit

This will focus on innovations in global health supply chains and explore emerging trends in information acquisition and sharing, coordination across stakeholders to improve efficiency and service and best practice ideas on public/private partnerships. The conference will assemble a collection of experts in the field - academics, country planners, NGOs, logistics practitioners and donor representatives to explore these topics. The three day conference will include two days of presentations and discussions from experts in the field and one day of training regarding best practice tools in supply chain management. Attendees will thus get access to both best practice results as well as “how-to” ideas for implementation in their respective contexts The Summit will thus provide a forum for attendees to learn from the community of global health care supply chain experts. Challenges in dealing with health care remain urgent, but the adoption of innovative practices, technologies and coordinating agreements provides hope for a brighter future. This year, like last year, the duration of the conference is three days. The third day is devoted for Health delivery Tutorial (for the exact topics see the agenda). The Tutorials are free and all are invited. At the third day we will also have a session for PhD students and young faculty discussing the challenges they are facing, and different approaches to successfully deal with these challenges The app outlines the agenda, history, previous year ppts, and also details about the organizing committee.
