Perfect character planner

Card Accuracy
Some of the cards have different descriptions than the board game. I know some cards were changed from initial release, but it would be nice to choose which version you want to use.

The Bladeswarm character was completely changed. The cards in here are completely inaccurate now. I can’t play without printing my own set which is not ideal.

Great Helper App for Gloomhaven
I’m part of a group of guys that started playing JoTL over Zoom during the pandemic. This app has been an amazing help in allowing us to participate virtually and keep track of our own characters. We even came across a couple of issues with modifier cards during play, emailed the app creator and they were fixed within a short period of time. Fantastic app. Fantastic developer. Highly recommend.

Great app missing a few key components
As others have mentioned, the app overall streamlines character deck management very well.
However, the item/equipment facet of combat is definitely not clear, and should be summarised in the tutorial. There is no indication of how to use the items unless you accidentally swipe on one and then realise that’s how you use/refresh them. It would also be nice if items such as Hide Armor had Activation Counts in the same way as abilities such as Frost Armor so that it doesn’t a binary Available vs. Spent state. And items such as Hide Armor should include their negative effects (e.g. two -1 attack cards) in their descriptions.
There is also a bug that appears to occur on character import which breaks/removes the Activation Count functionality on some ability cards (e.g. Frost Armor for Spellweaver); it works fine when you create the character from scratch though.
Also as others have mentioned, it would be nice to be able to add and manage ability enhancements.
All that said, you get a lot in this app that cleanly handles stuff in the background which would otherwise consume time micromanaging!

Can’t add X cards?
Level 1 only has lvl 1 cards not the three X cards- so you are prevented from playing the game by selecting your ability cards.

The dev updated the app to fix the contrast issues I had with the font. Great work!

More support for Solo Play is required
I hope in the future more support for Solo play would’ve available. Ability to change character after selecting your 2 cards. Also, I think the monster ability card would be better to be here rather than the campaign tracker apps.

Only app that I know of that shows and manages the player cards. Awesome!
The only downside are “active” cards that have multiple uses. You can move a card to the “Active” zone, but there is no way to track how many times you used them. If I had any way to track this, even a simple way that’s not ideal, I’d give 5 stars.
I also have issues re-downloading after paying for the add ons. It seems to clock telling me it will close when complete (never closes).
I plan to use the app for Jaws of the lion, and hopefully Frosthaven when that comes out. Essential for me.

Great but I have an issue
When creating a new character, the icons (I assume) that you would use to select your class are invisible. I can tell that I am changing my selecting as I swipe left and right, but I can’t see what is being selected. I end up blindly guessing until I find the right one. It is tedious. Am I missing something?

Yeah downloaded app, use + to add character? Where? All I see is the text in middle on a white backdrop. I’m guessing the icons are white?

Only 1 missing piece
This is a fantastic app, the only thing missing is marking enhancements on ability cards.
