App crashes
Whilst the app has membership card, points and rewards, app does crash and doesn’t work
Don’t rely on App - get a card
I only use the app to keep track of my points and get my birthday voucher. The app crashes every time I use it, so I recommend keeping your physical card handy.

The Gloria Jeans app works well on its first enquiry and then crashes after every 2nd or 3rd time you click on something

Crashes
The app is very painful, once open each selection you make it crashes, open it again and crashes. It’s not worth the effort.
They built it cheap and seem to have forgotten about it
Logging in it goes to white screen. Then freezes. Seems like a cheap quick app they don’t need

My app is not working properly so can you please update it as I am not able to login to my account as it wants me to create a new profile every time I try to login

Please sort this issue. Many reviews are saying the same thing. I just cannot log on no matter how many times I’ve tried.
Unable to log in , old points gone
I had an old account, when I install the OS App when it click on log in it promote me to sign as new user, when I enter my email address associated with my old account it acknowledges the email of existing member but I’m unable to sign in , this means GJ pushing me to register with new email then I loose my points, useless App

Hangs - Pointless White Screen After Login
This app does not work at all. I have the latest iOS installed. Gloria Jeans needs to either bring back physical cards or do it right. Save yourself 7 bucks and 30 mins of your life and have coffee elsewhere.
How many one star ratings until you fix it?
I tried to join, all seemed fine. It demanded a phone number - apps that need phone numbers are so predatory and I get so many scam calls every time I give a phone number to these apps. The confirmation text went through to my burner phone just fine, but then it demanded a confirmation of the email address as well. The email never came. Checked spam folders, clicked resend several times, nothing. So it’s completely unusable and I see from the dreadful ratings that this is common. Why even have it if you don’t fix it?

Worst app
Signed up and it said I got a free sign up coffee. Went to a store and staff said they’re unable to scan it in the system. Made me pay for the first coffee even when the app said the first one’s free.
What a joke
Tells me I have an account but I can’t remember my password. I request to reset password but never get the email. So I am locked out of my account! Either fix your app or go back to physical loyalty cards. Won’t be going to GJ anytime soon when plenty of other coffee shops reward their loyal customers without “technical” issues as their excuse

Appalling App, 0 stars…
I ave been a loyal customer of GJ’s for many years, had an excellent physical loyalty card, with points steadily accumulating, and then this app is thrust upon me, my previous points cancelled, GJ’s cafe staff unwilling/unable to offer any guidance as to why it’s not working and how to fix it, and nowhere to ring/email to ask them to fix the account, link my pre-existing points to the new account, and restore some faith in GJ’s.
If Coffee Club, Shingle Inn, Jamaica Blue, and even McDonalds can get their act together and produce excellent apps for loyal customers, why can’t Gloria Jeans? Terrible way to reward customer loyalty.
Given how few GJ’s cafes are left, perhaps this is a sign of things to come.

App needs fixing. It doesn’t even work!!!
Trying to login and keeps coming up with an error. I’ve deleted it and redownloaded it and still doesn’t work. I was told at the shops in order to redeem my points I need the app. The app doesn’t even work!!!

What an absolute joke ! This app doesn’t even work, have an account and won’t let me sign in even after resetting my password multiple times. Don’t waste your time or phone memory

Worst app, don’t waste your time
Along with the majority of people reviewing, the app is simply refusing to let me log in at all. Error after error, and now it looks like it’s registered my phone number without being attached to an email, so it is not only impossible to log in, it’s also impossible to access my account at all, ever, because it literally will not let you proceed without giving your phone number before you do anything. Which is not how an app should function anyway. What a huge, pointless waste of time and effort. Developers should be utterly embarrassed of themselves. I know I am. Absolute joke of an app.

Doesn’t work
App doesn’t even open. It sends an email link to verify your account. Press the link, verify your email and the app says it can verify. Don’t waste your time.
Glitchy sign up
Tried to sign up and create an account. Won’t allow it to proceed beyond the birthday data input. No way of creating an account to use the app
Can’t log in
First I already had a account with GJ. However I had to reset my pass. Then it’s impossible to get through security pin sent to your mobile number. Can’t get in on web browser then not even in app
