An in-depth review

No tripple A is a great name for this company, this game is serverly unpolished, contains way more +10 second unskippable ads than it deserves and is extremely unbalanced. TLDR: This game plays like an unfinished kickstarter souls like game and needs a serious revamp. The block does literally nothing but perpetually stunlock you while you still take chip damage so you have an entire button that is useless. You cannot even parry enemies with the block but they can parry you. The player should be able to parry because the block is uneless without that ability and if it is possible but I haven’t gotten to do it yet then it should be said that the player could do so and how to do so in the tutorial. The stamina system is a joke, your stamina drains with ever attack and dodge like yet another souls like but it regenerates EXTREMELY slowly. You can upgrade you stamina but so far it seems like this just increases the max amount and not the regen amount which doesn’t really do much since it basically always gonna be at around half or quarter in actual gameplay. It doesn’t feel like it’s there for you to make deliberate moves and be cautious with your movements, it feels like the developer saw that souls like game have stamina bar and decided to stick one in. The stamina regeneration needs to be increased. You can also still dodge and attack with what looks like 0 stamina on the UI but there is a limit to it, so basically you aren’t seeing the full stamina bar which IS THE REASON ITS A BAR IN THE FIRST PLACE. It is still a limited amount but you do not see the full thing, then why even have a bar if I am just going to have to guess how much stamina I have regardless. The auto targeting system is painfully outdated and just fails to function when you have enemies on opposite sides of you (which in my experience is very common). Again because the block is worthless your only means to avoid damage is to roll but the direction of your roll is heavily influenced by the direction the auto target is facing so it ends up spasming you around and in my experience always sending you in a direction you didn’t want to go to which of course would lead you to taking damage. Disabling the auto target until an attack animation is played might be better or actually fixing the auto lock but that’s more work right. If you try to roll when close enough to an enemy while facing the movement stick towards the enemy (I am assuming that you need to face the directional stick towards to enemy but it is never explained so I am assuming), you will perform a kick that will interrupt the enemy’s attack and stagger them. This kick is being used with the same button as the dodge results in it being very strange, sometimes you will try to kick only to roll away and other times you will try to roll away only to kick. This is very annoying and will get you killed or at least to take damage when you really shouldn’t have, breaking these into 2 buttons would be better or fixing the conditions for the kick to activate more consistently but again that way is more work right. The controls are responsive most of the time but there are times when inputs seem to just not register, never seemed to have a delayed input though so there’s that at least. The endless missions are much more difficult that the regular mission (the enemies have way more health and do way more damage right off the bat) which first of all does not make sense for an endless mode to start off harder than the normal map, secondly makes the endless mode worthless since you get 1 coin per enemy defeated but the regular mode is easier and gives more and lastly there is no warning or explanation to why the endless mode is unreasonably harder than the rest of the game so it just feels like the whole thing is a glitch and you start off at what should be the final stages of it. It should be fun but these issues keep it from being actually functional. I would rate it a bit higher but the devs would rather put in ads every 2 stages, charge $3.99 to remove ads and sell a “character” with quadruple the stats that of the highest freely obtainable character for $9.99 rather than make sure their game is functioning properly. If somehow this game is actually functioning as intended and the devs have no plans on updating anything then I think that’s even worse that they would not admit that this game is clearly unfinished.
